Fofana loves playing with lads like big Dan.

Will keep him at the club.

I’d be off like a shot mate. Literally.

I like Amartey as defensive cover, but they're all back to fitness now, he shouldn't be starting.

I like Amartey but this is exactly it, I like him as a 4th choice option.

Lost points like these (and there are too many examples to count in recent years), are all about mentality.

That comes from the boss.

Mentality aside, can someone talk me through the rationale of taking KDH off? Was on for MOTM and is exactly the type of player you want in there in that situation. Keeps the team moving forwards and an absolute pest in winning possession back as well.

Brendan Rodgers will cost us more points than any lack of transfer activity this summer and I personally am relishing the inevitable 'mutual consent' headline during the winter break.

I think you need to define the word negative to me. I always thought negative meant defensive, playing an extra man up front is not defensive.

I can see what Rodgers was trying to do but it back fired and he has to take the blame for that.

A negative change is not always defensive. You can easily bring on an extra defender for a midfielder and change tact. Change approach. A negative change is opening your side up to be vulnerable to the opposition. His change, like many decisions in the last 18 months leave us vulnerable.

It was lost points exactly like this last season that cost us our Europa League place, and made us the laughing stock of the Premier League.

From my memory(which may be wrong) didn’t the player pick the ball up in the midfield area with not a player in sight? If we still had 3 in the middle he doesn’t have that time on the ball, so it drags out a centre half when not really needed.

It pretty much all comes from us no longer pressuring them up the pitch, over time Brentford were gaining confidence and getting more and more time in our box.

Brendan post match Bingo, anyone?

I can barely be arsed, tbh. But...

Great group of lads

Young squad

Commitment

Controlled the game

Great energy

All that and then , what do you expect? I have no money to improve the squad, it's difficult at the moment? We've been punching above our weight? I'm very proud...Thought our players did well. They (Brentford) are a strong side and really tough...

Here's an idea, 2-0 up against possibly the worst team I've seen for closing down and pressuring, therefore giving us the run of the game so I'll take off the best player on the pitch and the one who can actually affect a game and give the opposition all the confidence they need to think they can get something out of a game they were never in up until then.

Great move Rodgers ya dumb feckwit ya.

I've never seen a clearer example of subs costing us a game.  In more ways than one

Bournemouth away says hi! Another moment of BR madness

Either the owners need to just suck it up cancel some ****ing contracts and get the deadwood out and fund this team or sack BR and fund another manager....

Dark days ahead I think we are going to struggle to stay up this season unless Leicester gets bought by some multi billionares

....bad day today, but the owners cannot put money indirectly, it is against FFP!!!

I dread to think what decent teams will do to us.

I might be wrong but do we concede more goals in a back 3 where it ought to be more defensive given you have 1 extra defender on?

Maddison never seems to have a good game when we play a back 3 either, again I might be wrong but I've consistently said it.

So frustrating. Amartey should be nowhere near this team when we have the majority fit and certainly not on the left, it's staggering.

Got to be 4-1-2-1-2 until Barnes is back or at least play Sotuncu instead of Amartey.

This is no different to anything I've ever said mate, you've always created some fictional narrative that everyone who sticks up for him wants him starting every game. I've always acknowledged how limited he actually is but also factor in he 'should be 4th choice' and if he is then that's fine.

We are way too short. We NEED a winger so we can change shape. We are jeopardising this season if we don't get someone, at least on loan (still mourning Lookman).

.

We desperately need reinforcements.

Completely agree with the spirit of this but we have too many players on the books at the moment. Rodgers has had six transfer windows before this one to find a decent right winger and instead has managed to fill the squad with dross that would be better suited to the championship.

These are all problems of Rodgers’s making, the idea that he is the one to dig us out of the hole he has created is one I’ve never understood.

I’m done with big Dan. Just a major liability when the pressure is on. Can’t believe we are gonna play a whole season like this

Arsenal next week. Another Rodgers tactical masterclass incoming. Yes no money for new signings. Then try to improve what youve got instead of throwing in the towel. Weak and not taking responsibility

Good first half, crap subs.

Next! I'm just glad it's back. lol

I'm not! Genuinely so much happier when Leicester aren't playing. And no...I can't stop caring!
