Daniel Amartey backing off and not challenging their second scorer was poor lazy  defending, but what the hell is wrong with Rodgers and his bizarre substitutions.

Same old story.

Astonishing that we are allowed five substitutions yet Rodgers makes one on a really warm day.

I worry about how bad we will be if Fofana or Evans pick up injuries again this season.

This is going to be a long week after that, infuriating. The first 2.5 seasons of him being here we didn't throw away a 2 goal lead in the league ONCE.

Now I'm never comfortable unless we're 3 or 4 up. How on earth can we expect to be a confident team if that's the vulnerability to us. Simply no excuses.

I've seen a few, all of them have been done by Rodgers.

today was a level or two above the rest though when you consider all factors.

3. Fofana was at fault for their 2nd gibing the ball away in midfield.

Big Dan had enough time to close Dasilva down, didn’t do so.

How many times last season did Brendan bring on Daka last season as a 'positive' sub and got nothing?  Same today. Not Daka's fault but you don't bring on another striker when you're losing ball after ball in the midfield and can't gain enough position to keep the match under control.

Rodgers trying his hardest to get sacked because he isn’t allowed to buy anyone. Going to be another long hard season if we can’t hold on to a 2-0 lead

The sub(s) were less than ideal but what more can you do when Amartey chooses to let Brentfords players in on goal twice.

First takes one of the worst throw ins Ive seen, then is too lazy to get back into position by which time Toney has gotten goalside and its too late. For the 2nd goal he forgets about one of the most basic rules of defending in football and decides not to close down his man despite being the only Leicester player currently not having to mark anyone

Absolute liability and shouldnt be anywhere near the first team in the future

There is going to be a lot of hysteria right now, and I do understand it - surrending a two goal lead is unacceptable.

However, a few important observations.

We are way too short. We NEED a winger so we can change shape. We are jeopardising this season if we don't get someone, at least on loan (still mourning Lookman).

KDH makes everything tick for us. We can't afford to take him off unless we replace him with like for like. I also was reassured by Ward's performance.

Amartey isn't good enough. Justin too, unfortunately, looks like he is off the pace.

We desperately need reinforcements.

Our squad is fine, we had enough options on the bench to see that one out.

This is all on the manager for using 1 (bad) substitution.

Yet the game ended 2-2. Same old story we’ve seen on repeat for the best part of 2 years.

Since Rodgers has been in charge how many times have we squandered leads to draw or lose from well inside the second half

Bringing on an extra striker is negative?

Yes at the expense of bringing off your best performing player, losing control of the midfield thats shielding the defence and therefore inviting pressure.. Like Rodgers has done countless times and ending in a loss or converting a win into a draw

Only 1 sub out of 5 used, that’s to take our kdh off. What the actual fcuk.

This is on rodgers. Poor game management end of. 2 pts lost

When you think Game is over at minute 47, things like this happens

i never think that now, especially after that spurs game. i think he has a weird fetish for letting teams back in it when we're completely in control.

If KDH needed to come off for reasons unknown to us, wtf put Daka on? Surely Praet was the obvious replacement to maintain combativeness in the midfield?

100% I would of also took vardy because he touched the ball maybe 5 times in a whole 93 minutes infact I think the commentators even said Daka had been amongst the ball more in his sort time of being on.

Tough season a head 200 million needs to be spent 🤣

Only gd thing about this is that we aren't man utd. I had to go out so missed the second half. We were in complete control in the first half wtf happened? Same old leicester ffs. 😔
