BR took KDH off in reaction to their change apparently. (That went well).  Players were a wee bit tired.

An absolutely hideous tactical blunder from Brendan has cost us today.

 

For the best part of that game the formation was working, the side looks settled at times we looked pretty slick too. We were in control of the game and Brentford could barely lay a finger on us. 
 

As the game wore on, you could see a few tired legs, N’didi was having an indifferent game, and later in the second half he was tiring, so the decision to withdraw KDH and disrupt a shape that was working, to replace him with an attacker which we didn’t need to do is absolutely mind blowing….. after this we lost all control of the game, and gaps galore appeared for Brentford to run into. Once one goal came the second was always coming.
 

A complete **** up of what was looking like a good three points. Absolutely fuming.

1. Firstly why take KDH off when he is playing well? 

2. If he did need to come off why not bring mendy or preat on? 

3. Vardy wasn't playing well if your going to bring Daka on why not bring vardy off? 

4. Once you have made the change and you see its not working why not make other subs and try and change it?

I do see your point.. But the removal of KDH was the negative aspect of the sub. Swapping for Ndidi who was having a poorer game would have made a little more sense. But IMO it the point if the sub were weren't loosing, so if ain't broke dont fit it..

The worrying part about all this is, looking  at our next 3 games, and the confidence that Rodgers inspires, we will be bottom after 4 games I'm sure of it.

Easily could tell our midfield was tiring. Had huge options of Praet, Nacho, Mendy to help freshen it up. Yet we do nothing and conceded twice.

You would struggle to do it any better than Brendan did today. It's scary how blind he is to the most basic principles in football.

If you're making reference to Big Dan I agree he was extremely poor today....I stuck up for him as a back up utility player but as a starter when everyone's fit....not good enough....Soyuncu must have slept with Brendans daughter to be dropped for Big Dan and at LCB....hung out to dry

At 2-1 after the sitter missed by Toney, we had ten minutes to see out. Rodgers had two opportunities plus Brentford’s own subs to really shithouse out that ten minutes. 
 

Instead he does nothing. Not even a striker for a striker. Let’s get some time off the clock. Injury time works both ways - the attacking time have to play with speed, so the error line is higher.
