KDH is essential to the current system and style of play we look to implement.

If he's fit, he starts.

Unless he's injured or totally dead on his feet, he does not get subbed off.

End of discussion.

Please could someone pass this note onto Rodgers.

Yes at the expense of bringing off your best performing player, losing control of the midfield thats shielding the defence and therefore inviting pressure.. Like Rodgers has done countless times and ending in a loss or converting a win into a draw

In what way is bringing on an extra striker negative? Bring on an extra defender is negative. It was a bad decision, I've said everytime but it was the opposite of negative.

It is easy to blame the manager but these players simply don't know how to see games out. They are mentally weak and lack some fighting spirit.

This is 2 points dropped. I will be very surprised if, without new blood, we finish above 15th. Two key players already out injured. Same players making mistakes as last season. Manager making the wrong decisions again. Nothing has changed or is going to change.

The home game against Southampton is already looking like a vital match as we will get nothing against either Arsenal or Chelsea.

He'll say KDH was tired but even a tired KDH is worth keeping on.

I'm sure he did it last season too .

Praet was the obvious replacement if KDH was injured or fired, instead he just overthought and ripped it up with a formation that we don’t play regularly

Unbelievable that we always seem to stop playing after going in front especially if we are up by 2. Brendan, what are we doing???

Bringing on Daka is a positive but taking off KDH was critically bad. Ndidi is just not up to it again today - his passing was poor and KDH was the one doing all the defending anyway. If we had Praet on for Ndidi, we would have comfortably controlled midfield and we may even score another goal if we continued to play.

Instead of reacting to Brentford bringing on 5 pairs of fresh legs, Brendan did nothing and instead waited for us to capitulate.

P off.

Daka and Vardy can work with a diamond where Maddison gets up with them but we effectively gave up a player in defensive shape today

They can't work at all they have a very similar game, central strikers who both lack ball control, neither can drop deep. It'll never work.

Fofana loves playing with lads like big Dan.

Will keep him at the club.

Simply inept management yet again. Took our foot off the gas as soon as we went 2-0 up. Why are we starting so many defensive players at home against Brentford?  KDH then going off killed our energy. 2 easy points straight in the bin. Unacceptable.

Did against Liverpool on the occasion they used it last season.

A solid point against a fellow relegation rival imo......

Can't believe we still have some pro Rodgers on here...copy and paste from the last 18months or so.

He has to go please

we have pro Rodgers supporters because he won the FA cup & we were excellent a few seasons ago.

they also realise that under his management we can be really really good, as per the first hour today!

they’re less interested in analysing the last third of games like today and how Rodgers may potentially be at fault there, though…

Same problems defensively. Its going to be a long tough season and Brendan has made it harder for himself straightaway. He's on the backfoot straight out of the blocks.

So this is just another Rodgers lie -

“He's very much a part of what we’re doing,” Rodgers said.“I’ve been delighted with Dennis. I pulled him and had a chat with him Friday morning to tell him how well he’s done overpre-season.

I’m sure Rodgers will say KDH had a knock or felt something….if that’s the case bring on Praet!

I actually can’t cope with Rodgers for another season if he is going to not actually act as a reflection of the game….he’s basically an AI manager who has pre-determined subs ALL the time 🤬

The guy gets out-thought so so often. It's gotten ****ing boring now, first game of a new season and it feels like we're exactly where we've been for the last 18 months. Players heads go down far too easily and it's not surprising given they're constantly undermined in the press by the manager.

Get him out before we limp out the cups.

Financially can we afford to sack him?

Starts with the manager. We always stop playing after going in front - except for Vardy, Madders and KDH. This is all Brendan.

If they lack fighting spirit and are mentally weak, and perhaps exhausted to boot, then you make substitutions

He was at fault for both goals. He has too many lapses consistently. He’s okay as back up but shouldnt be starting.

Exactly. So why did he! There’s no logical explanation.
