Rubbish, poor management, they have replaced half of their out fields players, so they were alot fresher than us, we use two subs and take off a midfielder for a striker, so looked tired and jaded, ridiculous!!!!

 

Same old story whether we have a full squad or half the team out.

 

What nonsense excuses will Rodgers make today? 🙄

There is going to be a lot of hysteria right now, and I do understand it - surrending a two goal lead is unacceptable.

However, a few important observations.

We are way too short. We NEED a winger so we can change shape. We are jeopardising this season if we don't get someone, at least on loan (still mourning Lookman).

 

KDH makes everything tick for us. We can't afford to take him off unless we replace him with like for like. I also was reassured by Ward's performance.

Amartey isn't good enough. Justin too, unfortunately, looks like he is off the pace.

We desperately need reinforcements.

Brendan isnt a stupid bloke, but why does he not see what EVERYONE else appears to see? They had 5 fresh pairs of legs on the pitch and he decided ti weaken our midfield massively, and make no further changes despite a solid bench.

Thoroughly disappointing. There isnt much to point out other than this being a carbon copy of last seasons problems. I think we have 10th-12th in us, but in the pit of my stomach I can’t help but wonder if another manager would get the best out of this group. We have some really good young players and some who should be in their prime, but they are playing like they are up the local park having a kick about. 
 

Rodgers negative tactics again, baffling subs, but at the same time I can’t help but feel like we do let players off for essentially not giving a shit. 
 

Sure maybe they aren’t enjoying life at the club under Rodgers, maybe they don’t like the tactics or style of play (completely guessing) but it’s no excuse for the lack of effort the fans have.had to put up with for the best part of 18 months now. 
 

let’s not forget that this sort of form doesn’t just go back through last season, it went on for the final few months of the 19/20 season also. 
 

Something has to change. It’s a new season so we can expect some rustiness, but if this carries on for a few more games, I’ll be back on the Rodgers out bus, these hot and cold performances cannot be excused for the amount of money the club is spending.
