Well I've wanted us to sign him on several occassions. So we might as well get him in as a No.3  

 

No in all seriousness it was either him or Ben Foster, and getting someone in at 32 is probably better than a 39 year old half way to retirement.

Perfectly fine for a 3rd choice keeper. Probably won't ever play a match, and wages will be v. reasonable.

To be fair at 32, I'd not be arsed. He'll be on less than £20k a week and I'm convinced we sell Iversen in the next 12 months.

Quick Google suggests his most recent contract was £30k a week… same as Foster

Anyone with anything bad to say about this needs to give their head a wobble. He probably won’t even pull on the shirt. He’s our Scott Carson, Andy Lonergan, Stuart Taylor etc.
