Yes and it isn't so they can make another million or two 🤣

But they will in a few years  - hence the attraction of the big six clubs who will never be relegated

The risk of buying a club our size is that you won’t be able to spend enough to guarantee survival to the point when the dosh comes rolling in ….

Ffp and the involvement of private equity in football will change everything that's for sure.

Great international publicity for King Power too.

I think there’s a large leap from “we incorrectly banked on CL football” to “we’re going to sell the club”.

The club’s investment in the academy will be a good earner.

The only accounted for payment is interest payments on loans and a management fee. That's far outweighed by the investment king power has put in, either in paying off debt, buying equity or writing off loans. Club has lost a fortune recently too.

It's absolutely nothing to do with the money you perceive him to make (even though he doesn't make any) and everything to do with image.

They would make money by selling it, far more than they would by taking a management fee so if your argument is they're in it to make money then selling is more plausible.

Of all the things to do to try and make money owning a football club isn't the best idea 🤣

An asset is an asset, even if not in liquid form. Owning a Premier League club is a huge asset and will show up in the group's balance sheet as such, which helps its financial health and the capacity to raise capital across the group.

I dont ever see them selling the club.

It's the one thing that will always keep them  close to Viachi.

I personally think Top would rather cut his right arm if than leave his dad.

Can’t see it his passion when we win the FA Cup the way he looked to the heavens when we won the FA cup the way he mingled with the fans, that’s not an owner looking to sell up !

I just think he wants to continue his fathers dreams it’s his families legacy to honour VIchai hence the training ground now the expansion & other builds, we’re going through a grey patch which every team ho through look at Manure what’s happening there?

We are a club that once was a yo yo club with owners that didn’t have half the passion this family have, administration nearly going out of business going down to division 1 missing out on promotion year after year we are now a  premier league club With the best owners any club could ask for those awful days are behind us of uncertainty so No I don’t think Selling the club is in Top or his families thoughts at all he just wants to make us the dream club of his father and will continue to do so !

Not sure if this guy has any legitimacy or knowledge (and Jordan Blackwell says it’s not true… not that that means much) but found this interesting given the timing

About as valid as last nights "Rodgers has walked" rubbish  no doubt. Someone is having a laugh with us, don't bite.

I can understand the thinking behind this. As an outsider looking in it seemed to be more a passion of love for Vichai rather than Top (even though Top is a fan), and I guess when you go from a fan, to an owner unexpectadly it maybe something you don't want, of course all we can do is speculate.

If I'm anywhere near the truth he could just get someone in run the club, a CEO so to speak

It takes ages to get a large development like that through the planning application process

No, the council have taken a strangely long time on this, there was no messing in Nottingham

Even if he does know something, he is probably confusing US investors interested with Top wants to sell.  Not the same thing.  I am sure they get approached regularly.

They spend millions of pounds buying horses for king power racing got over 100 horses on the books don't see them making much money on that investment untill they get a big Derby winner. Its a hobby for Top.So dont see them being that skint.

I haven't heard rumours but doesn't surprise me if what you say is true. Club ownership was dad's dream and the kids have inherited something they have no passion for. Bit like kids who inherit the family home - they have their own lives and want to sell up and split the cash.

As I say just rumours. No idea if what I hear about #LCFC is true. Agree with you, though. If they aren’t into it they’ll want a way out

Are people forgetting that Top was Vice Chairman of LCFC before Vichai died? He was just as involved in the running of the business (maybe more so) than his dad. We know of a few occasions where Top wanted something to happen and convinced his dad to do it. Where's the nonsense coming from that his heart's not in it, when it very clearly is?

It's been previously said that it was Top that convinced vichi to buy Leicester. Vichi wanted to buy a football team but it was Top that wanted Leicester.  To suggest that it has been forced on him and he didn't want it is just plain rubbish
