Newcastle and Pool still to play as well, will probably need a win on the last day as I see it going to the wire. Leeds have Man C and Newcastle. Everton have Newcastle and Man C Forest have Arsenal and Chelsea  Everyone has tough fixtures. 1
Number 6 Posted 26 April 2023 Posted 26 April 2023 Can't shake the feeling that whatever happens it will be in the balance for the final game against West Ham. 1
Raj Posted 26 April 2023 Posted 26 April 2023 Only Mystic Meg could have called who is going down and she is dead so now one can!!!

I'm back to obsessing over the other teams fixtures and I do think it's going to be one of those seasons where last game of the season all 3 places could still be up for grabs as Forest and Southampton aren't out of it at all. Forest have some winnable games which bothers me. Forest have not game in 10. Everton 2 wins in 10 Leeds 3 in 10.  Everton this Monday is massive win and I think we have put ourselves in a good position.  Southampton are 5 point behind us and have won 6 in 32 games, I don't see them winning 2 or 3 in 6.

Mike Oxlong Posted 26 April 2023 Posted 26 April 2023 Can’t see us getting anything v West Ham last game if anything depends on it - based on our proven ability to bottle end of season big games - but wouldn’t be surprised if we beat Liverpool.Â

He can do it Edited 26 April 2023 by Begley 1
tickler28 Posted 26 April 2023 Posted 26 April 2023 I saw enough last night to keep me believing however I still need more...for me there wasn't enough good attacking football and at times the players looked nervous on the ball (hesitant)...there was some fight but not enough for me....needs to go up a notch 1
Area88 Posted 26 April 2023 Posted 26 April 2023 We are back in the relegation zone!!!!!!!!!!! Hit the panic button.
Popular Post Lionator Posted 26 April 2023 Popular Post Posted 26 April 2023 The biggest crime was the Bournemouth game. If we’d won that, we’d be above them. 5
Popular Post Kitchandro Posted 26 April 2023 Popular Post Posted 26 April 2023 I repeat. Last night was a shocking result. Other teams will grind a result or 2 out on pure spirit, we don’t have it. We don’t beat teams we should beat, let alone those who are better than us.   4 1
Paninistickers Posted 26 April 2023 Posted 26 April 2023 Straw clutching, but the forest result cranks up the pressure on Everton tomorrow.  And having seen Leeds last night, they won't be happy. I think Leeds are gone. Saints almost certain.  1
FoxOfMelton Posted 26 April 2023 Posted 26 April 2023 This is looking like more of an inevitability than a possibility now. 1
HybridFox Posted 26 April 2023 Posted 26 April 2023 (edited) Just imagine if we had lost yesterday though. Fine margins, still all to play for. The Everton game is a huge six pointer we simply have to win Edited 26 April 2023 by HybridFox
Popular Post KrefelderFox666 Posted 26 April 2023 Popular Post Posted 26 April 2023 We just need to do our job. No one else will do it for us. 2 wins, 1 draw and 2 losses should keep us up. And it's not unrealistic for us. Monday is huge and a win there could kick us on 6
Popular Post The whole world smiles Posted 26 April 2023 Popular Post Posted 26 April 2023 Come on lads, theres 26 games involving us or our relegation rivals between now and the end of the season, it can't be Doom and gloom every time one of them doesn't go our way! Plenty of twists and turns left.  I think we will stay up, we have the superior goal difference some winnable games left and a couple of genuine match winners in the side unlike most our rivals!  Up the city. 10

Guest Col city fan Posted 26 April 2023 Posted 26 April 2023 When I look at our position I’m seething. I know that ‘hate’ is a very strong word but I can’t help feeling hate for Rodgers. Not playing to our strengths, consistently overlooking Soyuncu and playing Ward for so long is just criminal really. He’s really fooked us over in the end.
melvinmmelvin Posted 26 April 2023 Posted 26 April 2023 Â Statement of intent from Forest, there. Can't really complain... Â Was going to ask if Brighton are already 'on the beach' - if Brighton had a beach...

I’m not overly fussed that Forest have won tonight, it doesn’t change our objective.
