Wouldn't wanna be in the trenches with you ffs.

It looks bad right now, but there's still three games left and I'm sure there's still some twists and turns to go.

I can accept the situation is dire and not looking good, but still be hopeful and give my all to support the team to try and turn things round.

Some of you lot just enjoy being miserable, it's a game and the ups and downs are part of why we love it, we are Leicester city, we don't do boring

Every single year as appallingly bad and atrocious they are Everton will find something from somewhere to stay up.

This year it was when they played us last week and realised that it actually wasn’t so hard to beat teams with a bit of planning and commitment.

Because their fans actively hound out the manager and put the board under pressure.

Ours spat at the lone few who held up a Rodgers out banner, told them to piss off away from games, told them they weren’t fans and to support the club.

Even now you criticise Top and you get a be careful what you wish for, have some respect, his father passed away etc.

We are a club run by emotion and past legacy rather than actively trying to improve ourselves. Vichai was all about improving and that’s why Claudio was booted, he knew we were going down, if it was up to the fans we’d have gone down under him.

I think it's more likely we finish dead bottom than it is that we survive.

I can't see Southampton getting 7 points from 9

I was very much of this mindset until yesterday.

Watching us play & then Everton & Forest the difference in mentality was frankly disgusting, the players have absolutely no fight in them whatsoever.

I can't see us getting anything vs Liverpool & Newcastle and unfortunately think it will be done and dusted come the final game.

I get that, but I'd rather be relegated than circle the drain for years and years.

I've supported city since 1992. And if I look back the worst period as a fan was the mid to late naughties. We were shit championship fodder that just stuck around mid table. It was the relegation to league one and nfp that brought us back to life.

I still think there's a chance if we can get 4 points in the last 3 games. Tough? yes, impossible? No.

I can also tell you that a month ago I watched Everton and they were horrific, worse than us last night. So there's still time to pull a couple of performances together.

May not happen, but **** it, until it's mathematical I support with all I have and hope it inspires the players to give that little bit more. That's all I can do to help the situation. And if we go down, we start again, rebuild, new manager, new players but we are still here supporting our club to the end

I think a lot of the feeling of 'we're done' (including from myself) is about the relative performance yesterday rather than the result. The results that happened would have been terrible whatever, but we showed so little that it's really hard to believe we'll get a win from any of the remaining games. If we'd gone down in a hard fought game where we played well then we'd still be left needing Hail Marys but there'd at least be a glimmer that we'd fight in the next three games. I think that's gone now.

Only route for safety is if 33 would somehow see us safe. That would require three of: Forest losing all 3, Everton only getting one more point, Leeds getting at most 3 points, us managing to find a win from somewhere or remain unbeaten. Probably most likely is Forest striking out, Leeds not managing a win, and us nicking one against West Ham.

I really can't see it though, hope has been extinguished.

100% down now. The big games were wolves leeds and Everton. Not only would we be 4 points better off the psychological  impact would have shifted dramatically. Unfortunately  we bottled 2 of those games and handed the other teams a lift. The soft underbelly of this squad has no chance of recovery.  Hope to god they prove me wrong but I can't see it

What to do now if you're Smith? I'd be looking at scheduling a mid week friendly game and trialing some of the under 23s and maybe experiment with some formations. If the current 11 aren't hungry enough, see if we can play some players that are, as yesterday's team aren't winning a thing

They'll probably get injured

If the players don't give two flying fu### why should the fans

I hate modern day footballers telling the crowd to be 'up for it' then proceeding to play like a bunch of arseholes

In fact f#ck football in general

I need a bit of a pick me up, can any former Rodgers fans convince me that we will win the next three on the bounce?

I put a laughing emoji but the reality is the miracle club of old has people peering into the slightly open door. We’re not the miracle club of old anymore though!

It's the hope that kills you, but as fans that's all we've got. We can't make the team play like they care. Personally I readied myself for relegation after the Bournmouth game. The team played like they were already relegated that day. With the exception of Cags and Vardy, I wont be sorry to see the back of any of them.

Actually hope Leeds stay up, in the feint hope that they send Forest down with us.

I can't see it.

For me it's a straight shoot out between Forest and Leicester.

The absolutely gutting thing is that we probably, for the second year running, let Everton off the hook. This time at our expense. For me that penalty miss against Everton to go 3-1 up is the butterfly effect moment that probably saved them and relegated us.

It gave them buoyancy. Before that point against us you couldn't see Everton picking up any more, they looked in massive trouble. Now you look at their games against Wolves and Bournemouth (both of whom they'll be dead rubbers for) and you think, yeah, they're probably going to get a few more points.

So it's just a simple question - can we get three more points than Forest from our remaining games?

If Forest pick up one more point, we're probably down.

I think you’re probably right.

For me the galling thing is that playing that out, to be staying up I’d imagine we have to find ourselves in a position where we are beating West Ham on the final day, whilst Forest are losing - how many goals do we have to be ahead by to give people confidence we don’t bottle that game? We’ve just seen it happen too many times over the past few years. I’ve got no faith in that transpiring.

Which leaves us needing to shithouse a win against Liverpool or Newcastle. Most of our experience of Leicester over the past decade is enough to make one believe, but everything about the Leicester of the past 18 months or so makes you realise how infeasible it is.

Like I said fight even in defeat.  I don't see any passion from our players.  Maybe I'm being over critical??

Maybe I was right on the money.:D

Assuming Forest get 0 more points (which isn't impossible, in fact I'd say there's a decent chance) you're looking at a straight up cup final vs West Ham.

Which is good news, we famously do very well on the last day of the season when there's a lot riding on it.

Just look at our famous wins against United and Tottenham to seal Champions League qualification.

Glory days.
