The knives will be straight out for Rodgers despite the fact the club haven't signed him a right winger since he's been here. The last player we signed that actually improved the first 11 has been and gone. Let that sink in. And there's a narrative top down that we want to disrupt the top 6. It's ****ing nonsense.

Brendan gets the final say on transfers so in previous windows the recruitment team might have struggled to find a player he likes - an inside midfielder who can play on the right. At least now he’s saying he wants a fast right winger.
