Need to answer some questions.

They’re as culpable (it’s getting the point of more) than Rodgers.

Of course this doesn’t fit with my aGeNdA though.

Still doesnt excuse them from letting our industry leading departments fall behind almost the rest of the league.

I wont even attempt to get into the farce that is the state of the first team set up either.

The clubs long term interests……. What in the championship. It’s been a disgrace not investing in the squad. Apparently the finances are in good shape??

To which I’d add, this is all well and good, but it does feel like they’ve underestimated how bad we are at the moment and the likelihood of relegation as things stand 😅

Today's love letter from owner means nothing to me

Mistakes were made, a lot and "come on guys, i am still committed to the club" makes no sense when there is zero action

I believe every post i made past week i always mention owner and board

They are to blame AT FIRST PLACE

fu ck Brendan but right now all the voice should be directed to the owner

I agree. The lack of transparency, communication and accountability is staggering.

We have gone, remarkably, from a brilliantly run club with fans who generate a great atmosphere, to a poorly run club, with fans who are quiet as church mice.

Rodgers has ruined to playing style but he is being hung out to dry also.

Any other DOF who oversees the Adrien Silva mess, Vestegaard, Musa, Slimani..and a whole raft of other dross would have been held far more accountable than Rudkin is.

Just feel like the club has got it so wrong at key points and we’ve almost stumbled across recent success by accident!

Lots of talk, obviously, about Brendan but...

The Board are seemingly not interested in improving the squad, recruitment had gone to shit. They have failed to sort our RW issues for 7 windows now. Its clear we have financial issues and the only thing on their minds now is saving money and not the football or the fans. The ambition has gone, a general malaise has set in and they are also now pretty invisible. Communication also seems to have taken a back seat, be it between the board and Brendan, the Board and the fans, the Board and the players. They need a kick up the arse if we are going to get anything to change, either from the fans or from the 'senior players' but they also seem to have lost some power, or generally any enthusiasm for anything (one of the worst things about Kasper leaving).

This club has been through A LOT.

Top has been through A LOT.

But if we are going to criticise Brendan and the players. We also need to be able to criticise the board. I'm not saying we need hatred, but we do need honest conversations and action.

I remember making a large post having a go at the board for the contract mess we are in and someone literally quoted me saying it was true but they didn't want to agree because it would be implying that the owners weren't doing well by the club at the moment.

I feel like due to the tragedy that occurred to Vichai and all he has done for us everyone feels like we can't really critique the stuff the owners do occasionally get wrong.

Let's be honest. All season last year they were being told "when we have our injured players back, we will be competing" what does that tell you about the squad? They've been hoodwinked by Brendan the bandit.

Rudkin has somehow got his feet very firmly under the table at City and has gone from youth team manager to fook knows what now. You never hear from him at all. And some of the signings he must have overseen have frankly been absolute fookin garbage.

Such a lack of accountability

Kasper's sudden farewell.

No transfer

Zero statements from Top and LCFC board regarding club's current situation.

And Brendan Rogers questionable team selections.

The supporters left in the dark.

We know jack about what's going on at the club.

I wouldn’t mind, but the recruitment staff has been a shambles too…if he was a yes man that established a good team around him to do the leg work then it would be fine. I’m not quite sure what we are doing right at the moment.

I actually think this is spot on.

Said on BT the average length of time the players on the pitch had been at City was five years.  It all seems flat, stale.  Sleepwalking into deep trouble.

Everyone knows that new signings at the very least bring fresh squad competition, impetus, even just new personalities - a buzz.  That's before you factor in the added quality they might bring.

To see how poor we've been at times and not to spend a bit more money is in my opinion bordering on negligent.  It will cost the club far, far more if we are relegated than spending say £30m on a winger who can get the fans on their feet and get the squad enthused as well.

I just hope they have the bravery to sack Rodgers soon and that a new manager can provide the impetus we aren't getting through fresh blood.
