Rodgers (Allegedly) Publicly Calls the Players Not Good Enough and Throws Them Under the Bus

When managerial appointments have gone tits up in recent years we've seen a group of players take the issue to Top to get it sorted. I'm surprised this isn't happening now.

Don’t matter how much people bleat and moan, he ain’t getting sacked cos we can’t afford to sack him and whether we like it or not, he’s not been backed in the transfer window. The money ain’t there for whatever reason.

It costs us nothing to sack him, unless he takes us to court

He’s trying to get himself the sack I reckon. He can see it going south and wants to be pushed so he can get a pay out.

I just don’t believe it Surely if he really did want the sack this season or last season he would have just left vardy on the bench no matter what?

Not “allegedly”. I’ve got the U.S. broadcast post match interview. He says they lack quality and won’t be getting any this window.

Rewind to him spending £60m last window and saying we needed winners and that’s what he bought.

Arrrrrrrgh…. If this was Puel people would be burning the French flag and hanging snails.

Kasper is gone, Morgan is gone, and Vardy has checked out and is focusing on his wife's legal bills and his future in the States.

I’ve been slagging the c*** off for about a year. But, as I did will Puel and every other manager. I’ll stick up for them against exaggeration or lies.

But, even though I’m 8 pints in, I think I’m safe in saying it’s this c**** making and nobody else’s.

lol

I hope you've booked tomorrow off work.

The blokes out of ideas, anyone that’s saying “he’s right” in his quotes tonight is way off it, like someone said earlier in the thread… is this the 20th worst squad in the regardless of this summers transfer business? Most definitely not.

Yes he’s not changed or improved his starting XI in 2-3 years, but barring Schmeichel, Fofana and Chilwell we’ve still got the same squad that has been on those  hunts for CL places and have won the FA Cup. With decent additions included in Soumare, Daka, KDH etc.

We all know how good this squad can be, but he’s not the man to lead them anymore and has took them as far as he can, out of ideas. He knows it, the players know it.

Rip the plaster off.

Surely he can’t survive the night after this? No player will want to play for him now. Imagine your boss calling you not good enough in public.

Great stuff!!!

I always try to be positive about managers and players. However I think it’s time. We don’t have bad players but something is wrong and stale.

I've had word that there's been a staff member at Leicester sacked for betting on Rodgers to be 1st out the door - probably read the stuff after Bert's post the other day 😂😂😂😂😂

Fingers crossed it was Mr B Rodgers.

He’s gotta go. He chose the players he now says aren’t good enough. If he can’t motivate/coach them to an acceptable standard, and throws them under the bus, what is he still doing here?

Please, please sack him. I don't even enjoy games with this bloke. It's absolutely rancid. It's worth every penny it costs at this point.

The problem is that the players ARE good enough they just have lost faith in their manager

I do think this is still salvagable at least if the goal is to finish mid table.
