Rodgers (Allegedly) Publicly Calls the Players Not Good Enough and Throws Them Under the Bus

When managerial appointments have gone tits up in recent years we've seen a group of players take the issue to Top to get it sorted. I'm surprised this isn't happening now.

Doesn’t this happen in every interview, I don’t bother anymore but when I used to watch them it was always:

 

- since we’ve been here they have improved massively.

- we’ve achieved new record for this club

etc etc

 

now it’s 

- players not good enough

- overhaul needed

 

Rodgers is that annoying twat at work who always blames someone else when things go wrong and takes all the credit when they go well

The blokes out of ideas, anyone that’s saying “he’s right” in his quotes tonight is way off it, like someone said earlier in the thread… is this the 20th worst squad in the regardless of this summers transfer business? Most definitely not.

 

Yes he’s not changed or improved his starting XI in 2-3 years, but barring Schmeichel, Fofana and Chilwell we’ve still got the same squad that has been on those  hunts for CL places and have won the FA Cup. With decent additions included in Soumare, Daka, KDH etc. 

 

We all know how good this squad can be, but he’s not the man to lead them anymore and has took them as far as he can, out of ideas. He knows it, the players know it.

I've had word that there's been a staff member at Leicester sacked for betting on Rodgers to be 1st out the door - probably read the stuff after Bert's post the other day 😂😂😂😂😂

He’s gotta go. He chose the players he now says aren’t good enough. If he can’t motivate/coach them to an acceptable standard, and throws them under the bus, what is he still doing here?

What gets to me is that at Liverpool, he had money but spunked it and then blamed the board for not backing him. He arrived there just as they were about to spend big and he bought players that were just not up to it. He also inherited a decent squad and was successful for a couple of years but then the players he brought in failed to achieve and Liverpool dropped off. The board stopped the funds as they lost trust in his judgement and his management style:
