Calling players out should be fine, it’s part of management, but only if you can accept your part in current problems.

These players are easily good enough to finish around mid table. They’ve proven that for the past 3 seasons. The aim this season is to get 40 points avoid relegation and owst this sodding arrogant manager who’s ego exceeds his ability.

The club isn't asking a lot of Rodgers, he just needs a solid unspectacular mid table season. He's creating the problems with his style of play, stubbornness and ego. 

 

It's weird because Rodgers spends a lot of his time playing down expectations whilst also believing he's a manager what should be challenging.

The team trains with the coach and to avoid shipping goals they park the bus or else get thrown under it!

We are so far from a happy club... with fans , players and coaches and the board all respecting each other.

The change will start when rodgers is sacked.

I think what makes this very damning is he never does that though. His composure and guard is out the window now and he's punch drunk. Rodgers has a lot of ability as a coach but he is weak under pressure or in acrimonious circumstances and its all being played out.

 

He hasn't the finesse or aggression and bloody mindedness to overcome this here. There's too much water under the bridge and too much disappointment and disillusion that he can't put to one side and re-focus. The only way a manager who has been here nearly 4 years and is in a pickle can sort this out is to harness the emotion, build a band of brothers to prove people wrong and take great passion and pleasure in fighting for every point and plaudits.

 

But he's going out with a pathetic whimper, protecting Brand Brendan as he knows he's got a captive audience of clueless journalists, pundits and fellow football men who will blow smoke up his harris and peddle the same bollocks.

 

Time to go Brendan, thanks for the very very very best of times. No hard feelings, genuinely no hard feelings but it is long overdue now that we all have new beginnings.
