Actually don't care anymore whose fault it is - he has a very short time to show he can actually do something with the players we have.  He said the transfer window was a distraction, now it is done, he has the players he has.  Time to get them playing.  Are you a manager or not Brendan?  Can you only succeed with a constant influx of new players?

The trouble is, unless you keep buying new unsuspecting players, after a certain amount of time they all find out he's full of ****!

Sorry if I have missed something here:

Daniel Amartey has been in the team because Rogers claims Soyuncu is way off it at the moment.

Wilf then comes in last night (assume due to Amartey’s recent errors).

So if we are saying Amartey is “better”than Soyuncu, why does then Soyuncu sit on the bench and Amartey miss out in the squad completely.

Unless Amartey is injured (& forgive me if I’m wrong) but is he making it up as he goes along?

He was ill last night.

These players are easily good enough to finish around mid table. They’ve proven that for the past 3 seasons. The aim this season is to get 40 points avoid relegation and owst this sodding arrogant manager who’s ego exceeds his ability.

Please god don’t say you are a taxi driver/heart surgeon/the person defending me in court after what I did last night outside Rodgers’ house…

The club isn't asking a lot of Rodgers, he just needs a solid unspectacular mid table season. He's creating the problems with his style of play, stubbornness and ego.

It's weird because Rodgers spends a lot of his time playing down expectations whilst also believing he's a manager what should be challenging.

The word bus in the thread title got me thinking about football and public transport.

The team trains with the coach and to avoid shipping goals they park the bus or else get thrown under it!

Forget any snippets of quotes he might have made to the national media ...

The interview with Radio Leicester after the match said it all.   "Not interested.  Not my fault (even though I've been here over 3 years).   All the players fault."

Not a shred of responsibility for anything that's happened recently.   Car crash of an interview.

How do so many of you take offence so very easily?

We are so far from a happy club... with fans , players and coaches and the board all respecting each other.

The change will start when rodgers is sacked.

The yearning for this change means thst Rodgers self serving comments (,in prep for his next job interview) just make fans cry out

I think what makes this very damning is he never does that though. His composure and guard is out the window now and he's punch drunk. Rodgers has a lot of ability as a coach but he is weak under pressure or in acrimonious circumstances and its all being played out.

He hasn't the finesse or aggression and bloody mindedness to overcome this here. There's too much water under the bridge and too much disappointment and disillusion that he can't put to one side and re-focus. The only way a manager who has been here nearly 4 years and is in a pickle can sort this out is to harness the emotion, build a band of brothers to prove people wrong and take great passion and pleasure in fighting for every point and plaudits.

But he's going out with a pathetic whimper, protecting Brand Brendan as he knows he's got a captive audience of clueless journalists, pundits and fellow football men who will blow smoke up his harris and peddle the same bollocks.

Time to go Brendan, thanks for the very very very best of times. No hard feelings, genuinely no hard feelings but it is long overdue now that we all have new beginnings.

Do you think it’s imminent though?
