i wrote this article regarding Brendan Rodgers - general consensus is that most of us are for getting rid of him, so i explored the reasons he might not have left yet.

Perhaps that was our players natural game until, over a period of time, he coached that out of them and his own philosophy in.

Yes, very much fast, first or second touch, not afraid of balls through the channels or over the top with a reasonably high press.

 

Can you remember how we started that two seasons running, gained points and then how it was gradually slowed down into a dull repetitive passing dirge.

Yeh i agree all 3 points are probably reasons why he's not gone yet. 

 

For anyone who can't be arsed with all the ads and pop ups the 3 reasons are 

 

1. It' would cost £10m+ to sack him 

2. Lack of viable replacements.

3. Hoping someone like Brighton or Villa will take him

The Board are probably waiting for the Word Cup break to get rid. Meanwhile, they're tearing their hair out over Rodgers like the rest of us.
