Bored. So thought it start a shite thread.

 

What is the best one off performance you’ve ever seen from an opposition player? For me it has to be the Bergkamp hat-trick in 1997.

That last goal. I think even Elliott wanted to applaud despite getting turned inside out.

Trent against us too, Kane and Son have both had a fair few annoyingly good performances against us.

Remember Gylfi Sigurdsson absolutely destroying us when he played for Reading. Obviously this is just in relation to where we were at the time.

 

Diego Godin was sensational in the Champions League at the King Power.

 

De Bruyne in the 3-1 loss at the Etihad in 2019. He and Mahrez tore Chilwell to shreds.

Danny Drinkwater for Barnsley against us 2011/2012 season. Was outstanding, to be fair I always enjoyed watching Keith Hill teams. He signed for us quite soon after the game I believe.

Suprised nobody has mentioned Ulloa after we'd sewn up the Championship title. Fairly certain that performance convinced us to sign him. :thumbup:

Same to be honest. Was at the game I mentioned and also the 6-1 under Peter Taylor when Henry scored a hat trick (I introduced a self imposed ban on visiting Highbury after those games) and after seeing them both bag against us I always thought that despite Henry being an incredible player Anelka was the better striker. Absolutely unplayable on his day.
