Get him showing Madders how to take freekicks (Remember the one v Stoke in 2016)..

Unforgettable...

The way he bent it round that corner flag was Maddersesque!

Shout out to whoever called this about a month a go randomly in a thread. Seriously ITK.

It was cal212121, in the Wes Morgan thread on 19 September. You're right a proper ITK. I'll have to check if he's posted anything else.

I was thinking a couple of weeks ago that it would be great to get him back as defensive coach.  Hopefully he can get involved with things other than loans - defensive advice, adding to the set piece coaching, influencing the basic squad mentality such as togetherness, ruthlessness, determination, steel. Great to have him back.

Good to see him back, hope he can find some good placements for a number of the very talented youngsters we have on our books...oh, and a couple of existing squad members.

Can't he have Kolo's job instead?

News reports are coming in of a bloke fitting Toure's description being chased towards the A50 by an angry, tall blond man monster shouting threats in German.

Not sue if he has any coaching plans but might be good to have him around for when Rodgers and his team do depart (it will happen at some point eventually)

Interesting if the role is about finding suitable opportunities or if it's just supporting those players already out, helping them settle in new surroundings etc and completing reports.

I have to say, Morgan was a better defender overall. I would love for Morgan to be back also as a defensive coach.

Agree, but regardless, they brought out the best of each other as a monumentally good duo though.

Rodgers feels Huth is the perfect man for the job, firstly as someone who knows the experience of leaving the comforts of home, moving from Berlin to London as a young teenager, but also as someone who knows City inside out.

Rodgers said: “I think it’s a great appointment for the club. There were a number of great candidates that had applied. Robert brings a huge experience. He moved away from home as a young guy when he first came to Chelsea, so he’s got the understanding of being away as a young player. He made his life over here in England.

“All those experiences, plus his experience of being here at Leicester City, and understanding the area and understanding the club, that counts for a lot. I think he’ll be a huge benefit to the club. Huthy will inspire our young players before they arrive into the first team.

“He’s a really respected player, he’s a good guy. I knew him as a young player at Chelsea, when he was 18, 19, so to see him now with the career he’s had, it’s great to have him here.”
