Liz Truss is to politics what Tony Adams was to football management and she's somehow managed to land the Real Madrid job.

Can we revoke her passport and leave her there?

Yeah but at least Adams was actually a great footballer in the first place.

Imagine Brendan running the country :crylaugh:

Can’t imagine it’d be any worse, and it’d kill two birds with one stone. How can we make this happen?

Straight swap, Brendan for Truss? As shite as she is at running the country I don't believe anyone could run our team worse than Rodgers is right now.

Darned fine question! I don't live in the UK but see the havoc she is wreaking... and, selfish I know, my pensions are taking a hit and that obviously does concern me.

Oddly though, I'd vote Rodgers. I know Truss will be ousted (possibly shortly) and semi-normal service will be resumed and things will at least stabilise a little. Then we can start again. But Rodgers.... there's no sign of him going as yet and I fear he's going to burn the place to the ground before he goes.

Edit: just reread the poll. Truss will go first. I first read the poll as who I'd want to go first.

They’ve lost the team, results not going well, no money to spend. Soo who’s going first, Truss or Rodgers

The Tory Commons can see the writing on the wall - it reads "we're f**ked whatever we do". The media have already sussed out that she's a loudmouth incompetent. I suspect that her MPs will call for a sensible figure to try to redeem the Party's rep. as much as possible before Labour wins the election in 2024. How anyone can do that is beyond me. They've alienated most of the permanent organisations - central and local government bodies, NHS staff, Police, Judiciary, teachers, transport, small business and now the City. And the media were frantic about Corbyn and Macdonald lol.

Just on the politics I seem to remember Boris warning the party what they were about to do.

Truss is absolute lightweight  and  was not a real popular  pick of the MPs if you recall. It had to be Sunak but you wonder if his colour and background went against him with the party members.

Labour have to do precisely nothing to win the next election as we stand.Imagine that last one out turn the lights off .

Footy I have just lost interest
