Theres is literally no way we can lose this one. Wolves care less about making chances than we do. Worst case 0-0. 3 would be ideal as I imagine we lose the 3 after

1 or 2 nil win and another clean sheet.

I can see this as a game that is very hard to predict the result. But Faece is strengthening the centre of the defence and in turn this is making the whole of the team play better.

Gonna get lots of stick here, but two clean sheets on the bounce without Evans. Are we more solid without him? He's not been brilliant this year and as he ages he loses pace. Faes and Amartey do have the pace to allow the back line to push up and not get caught out which is a big part of how we play. Maybe the other shortcomings in Amarteys game are offset against this compared with Evans shortcomings.

Not sure, it's possible Evans has declined to the point we're better off without him but I'm also pretty certain there's been a tactical switch these last 2 games in how the team position themselves with and without the ball which seems to have made us look far more solid. That said, I do believe apalace and Leeds were both utter dog shit on the day and can't work out if we made them like that or we just benefitted from them both being way off it.

And finally, even in good defensive performances I thought Amartey had some very iffy moments, certainly against Palace who offered absolutely nothing so it's still far too early days to think Amartey is a better option than Evans but it may turn out to be the case.

If we revert to type this season, they don't need to make chances, we'll do it for them.

Though I'll share the optimism, 8-0 away win.

They didn't make any chances last year and won 2-1, what was it two shots outside the box? if we get whoever is playing DM or an agressive Faes with someone covering him to prevent that, we've every chance.

Confidence should be higher after Thursday.

Think it'll be a decent scoreline.

We are a long way away from confidence being high, especially for an away game. Tactically, our approach to the Leeds game worked but it was very much a game of us stopping them doing what they do best, rather than us out and out beating them. A win is a win, but i don't get a feeling of resounding confidence from it. Far more needs to be done to achieve that.

I don't see us winning away. Agree with those saying 1-1.

Nothing less than a win will do really. Simply have to start winning games away from home against sides around us in the table. We need the equivalent of another 10 wins to have a chance on not being relegated and this needs to start against Wolves. Certainly, an absolute must not lose game.

Having played on Thursday though I'm not that hopeful we've had enough time to recover.

I think there's something to this, our backline has looked a bit sharper, quicker in passing. However Amartey does have the odd ricket in him.

At his age, and with his injuries, we really shouldn't be relying on Evans so heavily. It will be interesting if we sell some of the players out of contract next summer in the January window and whether we can do any incoming business then rather than wait until the summer?

....those players would be mad to look to miss out on signing on bonuses with a few months to go in the season!!!

Just become a must win.

Situation is no different to what it was before. We need to be getting frequent results now because we need to get out of the bottom 3.
