That’s a decent half for me.  Cags back and playing well.  Only half-chances for them.

We’re in it.  Daka on at 60’.

KDH unfortunately crapping his pants with all the quality around him.  Time for Praet second half.

Yes. He’s not looked good. He’s a better all out energy player and stifling the game isn’t his approach. Praet is better technically but KDH can most likely help the press for 90 mins.

We could come out and demolish them by some miracle in the second half and you'd still get people like Dames first and foremost moaning about the formation

Solid defending helped by a completely different looking keeper, had a couple of opportunities which could have been rewarding with a bit more thought.

Defensive masterclass.

Make them play through all 11 on the edge of the box, crosses come in we have 5/6 players there to clear the ball.

Only issue is we can't keep the ball and when we go forward there is very limited options.

Nil nil would be great result.

9 corners against and it’s 0-0. Breathe it in.

Thanks for the reminder.  I stopped breathing on the third corner.

Was wondering why my fingers are blue.

Pep will be buying Ward at this rate.  Looks like a completely different player.

KDH found a little wanting right now, which is fair enough. Still more development to come from him.

Faes, Cags and Amartey effing ballsy i have to say.

I'm beating a dead horse here but the only times that man city looks threatening are when we're playing around with it at the back and lose the ball. Hopefully we're a lot more no nonsense in the second and we might get a clean sheet

We’re looking at Barnes as the outlet. We need to allow Stones to join the attack then work a turnover.

The tactics are working. Might not be the most fun to watch, but we are playing these tactics for a reason.

It's not quite like the 5-2 game. In that one even when we went behind, after about 20 minutes it was clear the tactic was working because we spurned a few 1 on 1's. We aren't really posing a fantastic threat against them, but it is there in some form.

TBH I would take the 0-0 all day long, and I suspect many others would. You just hope it isn't a 1-0 win with a goal for them in the last 10 minutes!

We can absolutely get some joy down our left. On the 2 or 3 occasions we strung some play together, it was surprisingly easy to release Barnes into space.

KDH not suited for this style, would look to get Praet on
