This is the same manager that unnecessarily played Pereira and Soyuncu after their injuries on a plastic pitch in Ukraine

In freezing temperatures.

It's just bad luck remember

It was though. Impact injury to his knee, it could happen at any point. And we don't have a lot of depth at fullback so I get why JJ played.

This truly was bad luck.

Actually I wouldnt have as this should have been an oppotunity to give some of them a chance in which no of them seem

to be getting.

You’d sooner give the kids a chance than win a cup?

Thank Fcuk you’re not managing my team.

Er, right. But now you're having a pop for playing an uninjured JJ on a grass pitch at around 11 degrees?

What are you talking about? This is not a local pub team. All players are monitored by physios, players coming back from injuries are assessed thoroughly and the manager gets daily reports. Rodgers is not making decisions without consulting all other medical staff.

I am talking about his long history of constant injuries... obviously just purely down to bad luck then lol

This truly was bad luck.

exactly. Could easily happen in training which in truth is probably more intense than this game at times.

or should he not be training either?!

we’ve got plenty wrong with injuries in the past but this isn’t one of those things. this is us taking our only shot at europe seriously.

many on here would have been fuming if big dan or albrighton started at rb
