Evans is absolutely obsessed with slowing the play down

Nice hit JJ.

Honking half though, hope we make changes to approach, personnel or both at half time

All of the shots, all of the corners, and damned near all of the ball … and we’ve only ahead on a worldie.

Ndidi first touch passing has been even worse than normal. Soumare has done ok I think, but still manages to do some really shit things. Perez is trying too hard to do something when he isn't good enough too.

Can't believe Vardy passed, good runs from him as usual but offers nothing the build up. Too pedestrian overall.

Super goal from Justin but the Newport defence should have closed him down, they'll be disappointed with that having got so close to half time, disappointed we've not got more.

For someone who defends Rodgers so often, it's hardly surprising to see that you've ignored the fact that the reason we missed top 4 twice, was down to Rodgers being unable to rotate the squad which resulted in big key injuries. The reason for the complaints is because yet again Rodgers is highlighting one of his faults. We need a manager who is capable of rotating in the Prem and still win games/earn positive results. The fact he isn't capable of doing it against poor opposition is a clear flaw.

What we do know is that Barnes and Faes clearly don't need game time, playing them clearly increases the odds of injury. You also need to be aware of the flip side, in how others need game time. We saw when Ndidi came on how he was lacking sharpness, that will be the same for Iheanacho/Praet/Thomas/Albrighton etc.

You know nothing of the sort, so stop making up stuff, why do it from a position of ignorance? As this is what it is, I am the same. :dunno:

Maybe trust is occasionally in order? Unless you have insider info you are guessing to fit your position.

Would rather just roll with it and see how we go. :scarf:

Watching this midfield is does make you worry if we lose Maddison and Tielemans.

It does, but they would be replaced to the best of our ability

Great finish by Justin.  He looks like he’s having to fight any attacking instinct. Rodger’s has ruined the lad. Clear grass ahead of him, he slows down and passes back. He’s done that a lot this season.

Perez over plays but Rodgers has rarely played him in his best position.

Quite obviously rubbish. He's tried to get in behind a few times, but also time his runs efficiently tonight.

What an odd thing to slate Rodgers for.

My stream died just before the goal. Nice strike was it?

Cut inside and turned into prime Arjen Robben, curled left footer from just outside the box. Keeper no chance.

Mate, a couple of months ago you were slating Barnes saying he's mentaly weak, hasn't made that step to the next level and that we'd be better without him...

I think it’s a fair thing to slate Rodger’s for. Justin most games will always look for the safe, easy option.  He looks afraid to make a mistake even if it’s attempting to make something happen.  When he does he gets in good positions.

I think he's one of the main reasons we were so poor at the start of the season, we look so much better without him in the side.

Have to agree with you. I think he's good as a leader but fitness-wise and age-wise, he should retire and become a defensive coach somewhere.

Loved having him here in his best years for us but he's not the defender he was.

He may be the reason why the defence and Ward were so insecure in the first few games before he got injured. (again)
