Honesty flags ?

The flags are a great idea and make the Kop look much better and improve the atmosphere. 

 

People have been moaning about the lack of it, the club has tried to improve this ,a bit (although I still hate the music) then twats are nicking them from the stadium. 

 

The club should put something out there, that if you're caught trying to take one home, your season ticket will be confiscated.

Half thought to myself the club should arrange them to be in this stand only, to give it more definition from the other three.

Big Merc SUV thing parked in front of us last night. As we waited to get out the family of 4 returned complete with their 'honesty' flag. I'm sure they have enough money to buy one without knicking. 

 

As an aside, I nearly had one up the arse when I flipped my seat down as I didn't know it was there. Glad that I didn't have to explain that one in the infirmary. Could've been nasty.

On my way home last night I explained to one of the thieves that you're meant to leave the flags in the stadium, got a blank look and a shrug of shoulders in return.

I'm all for people nicking some of the more horrendous designs if it means they're never seen in the stadium again.

Wtf is an honesty flag ?

Initially used for kids to keep them involved in games, family end stuff. The flags simply get returned after to a box or under the seat.

 

Most get taken home because people are a bit selfish.

 

Newcastle have done it really well stadium wide. Brings a bit of a spectacle to the terraces if done well.

Some were still using them in the West Stand.

There’s not much I like about modern football in all honesty, it’s a step away from the Disney channel!
