If it is on target even if the keeper goes the right way, you are far more likely to score than just passing it in. Hit it, and strike it well you are almost guaranteed to score

A bit of luck is always needed, but they have such a great mentality and composure. Qualifying 5 out 6 times, reaching a final, a semifinal and now at least a quarterfinal, for such a small country, is extraordinary.

Penalties ultimately comes down to the size of a team's cajones.

 

Statistically if you can place your ball in the top half of the goal, you're much more likely to score. Keepers really struggle to get to them, it's the combination of adjusting laterally as well as vertically that makes it almost impossible for them.

 

Easier said than done in a pressure situation. Much easier to side foot it at waist height or lower. Increases your chances of hitting the target but at the same time massively tilts the scales in favour of the keeper.

I kind of agree with this. 
 

I don’t find them a particularly easy side to warm to. No idea why, as they are a tiny nation punching well above their weight with some ridiculous talent. 
 

Just a bit kind of predictable. Slow, a bit emotionless, grinding…and…another win

They are Leicester City basically. 

 

That said I totally disagree. They're a small country who produce wonderful technically gifted players and most of all their kit is GOAT
