As for the podcast, top quality content as always guys. Was good to hear Owynn on too, he seemed relaxed and was a little more open... shame you couldn't get him to swear.

Listening to Owynn say the words "P**syman Dan" was weird though. Like hearing your Grandad talk about going to a strip club.

Yesterday at work a well-meaning colleague came over to my desk, put on a sympathetic face and said, "It's not looking great for Leicester, is it?" I responded by launching into a rant covering every aspect of our ineptitude from board level to pitch. I was still in full swing 10 minutes later when my colleague started shifting nervously on his feet, looking at his watch and saying, "Actually I've got to run into a meeting...".

On the way home I listed to the podcast and felt a lot calmer (misery loves company, etc). Next time I might to try to listen to it on my way into work to spare my colleagues from my LCFC-induced rage.

I'm finding it's similar, few work colleagues have asked me with what's gone on with Leicester... I mean where do you start? It's a whole myriad of f**k ups and takes a good half hour to tell them in the detail that they need to understand. By that point, you look a total raving nut job!

It's a roller coaster of a challenge. The quantity of food isn't the main obstacle, its the overwhelming nausea that comes from the taste of the nuggets.

The first 20 are a fcukin walk in the park, you could even say they're quite enjoyable, you don't even need any sauces. They're gone within 5 mins.

The 2nd 20 start to send signals to your stomach and bottom that all's not well but distraction comes with a plethora of BBQ sauce, sweet and sour and the like. An XXL coke zero will see off at least another 5-10 before anymore complaints come from the brain.

When you get to around 40, it's becoming a real problem. As I have said, the taste becomes too much. The fried undertones and mechanically reformed chicken sear through the sauces and they are no longer able to provide any respite. But you move on, you have to. For some of us this isn't an accident, months of planning has gone in to it. Personal bests have to be broken each time, every time.

The 3rd box of 20 are just a blur. Your lips start to burn immensely, your breath is pure gas and your hair smells like you've been trapped in a chip shop a week. It's about getting these ones clocked off before your body shuts down, it's a game of cat and mouse. Fight to the death.

You've now entered the last moments of humanity, how has it come to this? You've spent the best part of £25 on fcukin chicken nuggets, you're nearly 40 years old man and you've enough experience on past challenges about what this does to your bottom. It'll be more upset than Greta Thunberg. Every last nugget, straight down the Gregory. One last push. Oh god, mum help me please.

The klaxon sounds, another PB set. You slump in your chair, sweatier than if you'd actually ran an ultra marathon. But no extreme sport could give you this rush, its only just begun as well. You'll not sleep properly now for several days. You'll hallucinate more off processed poultry than anything that you can get off the dark web. The indigestion will feel like you've just given birth to an elephant through a hosepipe.

The green shoots of recovery happen when you realise the persistent wet hair, painful bogeys and squeaky tear ducts have dissipated. You can be safe in the knowledge you've not snuffed it.

63 not out, WE GO AGAIN.

To be fair, isn’t it like this every meal for an IBS sufferer? :P

...very true, I tend not to answer the question, or change the subject as quickly as possible, but you know when they know nothing about what has gone on, and the time it would take to bring them up to speed!!!

The slide probably began when Rodgers signed his contract extension and effectively took control of the club. Some on here should check their back posts on that , they would find them pretty embarrassing I would think.

Thanks Ric for keeping it real for all of us fans in speaking your mind. People need to hear this because our situation really is that bad! The club has been sleep walking towards disaster for a while now.

i hope & pray that the powers that be atleast are getting their act together in how to survive the championship and come back up healthier and better. It’s back to basics and find that core that made us Leicester city. Wonder when anyone from the clubs leadership will address the fans. There should be a bloody inquest and this lot thrown in front of fans like a town hall to explain wtf is going in behind the scenes!

Lack of transparency is shocking given the gravity of our situation.

I think I could beat that, I want to attempt the 100 nugget challenge at somepoint.

Get a live one set-up, I'll be there for sure!!

If you can beat 63 then fair play to you. That took me a number of attempts to do and learning from mistakes. I've had others claim they could and watched them choking on blocked nuggets they ralphed back up that got stuck.

I don't think I'd dare have another go, it's brutal.

Fully agreed with Jord's point about singing songs about relegation. Gallows humour is all good when you're in the ridiculous situation we were against Fulham, but at 2-0 down against Liverpool at home it's fvcking weird. Like people were just bursting to sing about it.

I think even at Fulham it was a bit odd.

I can appreciate that sort of gallows humour when you're dead and buried. Not when you've got plenty of games left and not that many points required.

Do feel as though the fans' acceptance of relegation hasn't helped. We have just rolled over and accepted it to a degree.

Absolutely in bits laughing my head off.

Hopefully Ric Flair's got off the kebab bandwagon. (Praying you've got loo roll in the Fridge mate)

The fans have sadly made no difference at all. Many of us have been drawing attention to the disastrously poor decision making for well over 18 months. Throughout that period the singing and support has continued. Against Everton (h) against Fulham (a) the support was fantastic initially - but you reach a point where there is no belief in this team whatsoever. The on field game management would shame a Sunday league team and given how much they’re paid - you can’t help but feel they are completely taking the p**s out of us. So much so that the only thing left to do is return the favour…it grieves me to say it but that is all they deserve - they actually are unfit to wear the shirt…

We need a play-by-play commentary on this a la lavrentis's first BJ circa 2008.

We're on mile 37 of a brutal ultra marathon. There's been bodies along the way, heads have fell off, pickles have been lost, nether regions belted persistently.

But here we are, as we approach our destiny. What's it gonna be? Do we actually care either way after what we've been subjected to? Do we get out of this and the club learn absolutely nothing and therefore, in the long run we could be worse off?

Fists clenched, soldier stance. Just get on it with it please.

Big shout out to FT "legend" @Thracian this week.

Another cracking episode, keep up the good work and regardless of the result on Sunday, look forward to post/pre season episodes and hopefully discussing the massive changes we will see as the club starts the rebuild.

Spot on with everything, except the individual who doesn’t rate Iheanacho and would rather have Daka playing. Anyway a great listen and I hope you continue throughout the summer!
