I honestly thought it was pre-recorded footage before they started talking about the injury. It was only a couple of weeks ago and he's walking around looking fine.

The contract has probably been signed for a few weeks. Chances are they’ve had to wait to see how he’s responded to surgery etc.

Even after he recovers and makes a few appearances for us, any prem youth player will command a few millly these days anyway, we'll not lose either way
