Completely agree. Although Youri is great, I feel after such an amazing result you can't bring players in just because they are perceived as better.

That team did the hard work and won so give them their chance again.

Sorry meant to add when a player has low confidence and makes a mistake like Mendy did they typically go into a shell afraid to do anything ballsy at risk of making another mistake. That moment empowered Mendy to do even better. Just wow 👏🏽

Don’t mind if Mendy starts a few more games, but if he’s leaving in the summer along with Youri we shouldn’t be building the midfield around either of them as the season goes on.
