Its such a good feeling as a supporter to have all the players except Justin, back fit for the Man Utd game. They can take a full coach up and all feel like they are being pushed for their place.

Every single one in a winning team now has a genuine first team understudy who has a claim to their place. Everyone except Maddison, who is irreplacable

The fact ricardo, evans, soyuncu, ndid, tielemans, vardy, daka are not in possession of a guaranteed start can only be good news.

WARD iversen

CASTAGNE ricardo

SOUTTAR evans amartey

FAES soyuncu

KRISTIANSEN thomas

MENDY ndidi soumare

KDH tielemans braybroooke

MADDISON

TETE praet

IHEANACHO vardy daka

BARNES maswisihne

Would still say we need one or two more wingers in the summer. One injury to barnes/Tete and we could be having some problems

I think the league as a whole has been fairly weak this season.

It’s probably one of the reasons Newcastle are doing so well, because whenever I’ve seen them play, they’ve won games by not being overly impressive. Not like we were when we were challenging for the top 4, we played some unreal football at times.

It’s why I’m feeling fairly confident again, because we look to have a bit of that spark back again, I mean we pummelled spurs on Saturday, and I think it’s fair to say we weren’t even at full tilt?

City and Arsenal are ahead of the curve this season, and United have found form again, but without playing brilliantly in my opinion, just being fairly solid.

Definitely potential for us to get something here.

Anyone else read Barnes Maswisihne as  mashing machine?

This will be the game Tete announces himself to the premier league and it will instantly put him out of our reach for the summer :(

I was just thinking along the same lines. Tete’ had a low key game against the spuds. He could have easily terrorized their defense if he wanted but looked like he was playing it cool. Like he knew he didn’t need to hurt them because the rest of the team was already doing it. Against manure I’d love to seen him terrorize Harry magoo, Fred flintstone, oneballsack and midget Martinez.

Manchester United to benefit from  at least one dodgy decision.

Still bitter about McTominay staying o  the field and iheanacho having a goal ruled out for a clear and obvious tackle after several VAR minutes.

Should be exactly the same team, tactics, subs. Got a horrible feeling he will make changes and go to Old Trafford with the intention of not getting smashed. Back to square one. Need to go with the intent to batter them.

We always turn up to Old Trafford in awe of their reputation even when they were a mess under Ole.

To be fair we were by far the better team last season and were unfortunate not to come away with all 3 points, rather than just 1. And the season before we won. Thomas scored that lovely back post volley

Another VAR shitshow that went against us.

And the season before that we were fairly unlucky as well. Took a soft penalty to beat us
