Chelsea chasing a european trophy and a top 4 place is a little different …..

Which is why I said we're a different proposition... However, would you say his stock is as high now as in 2012? Circumstances aren't the same by any stretch, he's not particularly coveted or well thought of after his Everton stint.

He was on sky two weeks ago saying he’s ready to take a job but he wants it to be a project ….

He might want it to be but a half decent prem club swings his way with an offer when he's been out of work for a year and he's not dismissing it is he.

I think he’d be insulted to be asked to try and rescue our season and then thanks very much - bye ….

he’s a multiple trophy winning coach, not Sam allardyce

So was Ranieri and he was talking those kind of gigs.

So Jealous of what Brighton, Villa and Wolves have done this season. The latter 2 teams had to act and recruited sensibly and boy has it paid off for them. Brightons hand was forced but again they pulled a blinder and have made the best appointment in the league. What would i give to have De Zerb running up and down the touchline right now motivating and inspiring our team.

Am concerned we won't look beyond PL experience, which is going to lead us down some frankly uninspiring paths.

Surely by now we have all learned our lesson when hiring from the 9-1 Southampton team?

Really bad result for them, but given the spending power he was given he done a fantastic job overall imo. But yeah those 2x 9-1 results were embarrassing for them.

Gattuso.
Need a bastard to give this flimsy squad a kick up the arse.

Haha imagine… Harvey Barnes would go home crying everyday and scared to come to ‘work’ 🤣 squad full of soft arses this is, none of them in fact could hack it with him

We need a manager with a character and personality.

Why is De Zerbi having such a success at Brighton. I read that Football journalist Guillem Balague has said that De Zerbi ...." Is 5'10 but when he walks into a room it is like 6'5 ....he looks bigger and has an aura and great personality".

De Zerbi's teams play with passion, he's more attentive to tactics, his training sessions are less rigorous physically but are about tactics whereas British managers are are known for having a more practical approach to training with greater emphasis on hard training... which may explain why we have so much injuries aswell.

Good. They’ve had far too nice and familiar for long enough.

I think Rob Tanner said the club were keen on Thomas Frank, but such a move couldn't possibly happen until the summer and only if we survived, which places the emphasis on somehow surviving with Rodgers and muddling through with what we have.  Why would Frank come here some may ask? Well a big hike in wages for a start.

Thomas Frank. Doing a great job at Brentford on a shoe string budget compared to what we are currently throwing at it. Will get the fans connected back to the team which we desperately need. Those that say he wouldn’t swap, he would, 100%

Would be a great appointment. But I couldnt disagree more that he would come. Why would he swap Brentford who are flying for us who are one of the worst sides in the league.

We’re a sinking ship and Brentford are now a well established Premier League side. I doubt very much he would swap ‘100%’.
