We need a manager who is good at building a team we need a summer re-build. The last person I’d want to do that is Rodgers.

 

I’d push the boat out to reunite the management team that basically builds our PL winning team…

Benitez came in at newcastle in 15/16 and was unable to keep them up - ‘‘twas too late with the squad he had 

 

I think he would come here but I just don’t see us sacking rodgers

We've now gotta do what Everton have done and appoint somebody who will be happy to manage us in the Championship. This club has been grossly mismanaged from top to bottom

You don't think it's an unnecessary for a manager who has gone from top/elite champions league clubs in European football, who will still have high stock for any open job at similar types of clubs to risk his reputation by coming in to our current mess and risking not being able to turn it round. So at best he keeps us up and achieves what exactly? Whereas if we drop it only hinders his stock, all the while being contracted to us meaning if a bigger job does come along, he's tied in and misses out. I'm not sure what's in it for him tbh. He's not a Leicester City fan as far as I'm aware.

Apart from that I'm not sure given the variables of mangers being in work, or too good to join a relegation scrap. 

Surely by now we have all learned our lesson when hiring from the 9-1 Southampton team?

The question is who will keep us in the division? 

 

It's that bad, we only need to achieve this then have a proper recruitment process in the summer. 

 

I believe we need an interim manager who has a plan B unlike BR. 

 

At this point I would even take Allardyce or Megson. I dont care what the football is like, it can not be worse than what we have now. It's not good to watch and it is ineffective.
