Looking at this weekends fixtures i can see important wins for our relegation rivals whilst we slump to a comfortable 2-0 defeat.

Happy weekend everybody:scarf:

I actually think the other relegation teams all have more difficult games

You wonder if the players are tempted to contrive a 1-2 then a shot from kick off just to get that statistical Monkey off their back. OK it would immediately concede possession and give Chelsea a throw in but isn’t that what we usually do anyway with an angled ball looking for  a 7 foot 6 version of Harvey :dunno:

Possibly but if you have 700 million invested in players even potter can probably find 11 good enough to beat our lot

If Blackburn, Southampton can…anyone can.

I don't know which team will turn up today, the one that thrashed Spurs, or the one that rolled over at Southampton. Almost certainly the latter.

The grim outcome is that we save Potter's bacon, and still have Rodgers.

Time to drop Tete, Evans in a 3 amd let Ricardo get forward. Daka with Kel, and put Mendy and KDH in behind Maddison

I can see your logic but we just never look great playing in a 3 as our wing backs play too deep and make it a 5, so we end up with no width going forward.

So, I'd stick with a 4, especially if  Barnes is fit. Either way, I think we need to give Tete one more chance.

If Evans is fit, though, I would be tempted to bring him in for Faes, who has been largely dreadful since the World Cup, constantly rushing forward out of position and making mistakes on the ball. People might be worried that Souttar and Evans won't be quick enough as a pair but Faes is hardly Usain Bolt himself.

This Chelsea team have score 4 in the prem this calendar year. Stirling is out. Do we really need 5 people planted at the back?

This - we played chelsea a couple of years ago 343 against their 343 and from the kick off Chilwell was playing left winger, and albrighton was playing as right back immediately after 10 seconds without even touching the ball - sets an awful tone for the whole game and we didn’t have a chance all game

I'm trying to get attacking players in the team that might score. Tete won't and if Barnes is injured this is the best option. Praet isn't going to score is he?

Also, Chelsea will score at least one against us. Probably 2.

...I  see that totally the other way!!!

We push the Wingbacks high up the pitch, they give no support to the back three because they are caught out so far up the pitch. If they were in their positions we would be better at defending.

If you remember the Villa cup game, we spent the first 10 minutes passing it around the back, as we could not get out of our half.  Ricardo and the other wingback was deployed on the half way line and anytime the ball came to them, they had to turn and pass it backwards.

Least interested I've been in a Leicester game for a long time. No faith that we'll get anything. Think we'll start well then comfortably lose. Hope I'm wrong though.
