Having just been for a run around the city, whilst a bit more difficult than usual, I think it would be very strange to call this one off. It’s just slush.

Sun will be out by lunch, the snow will be no more by this afternoon.

Nearly a foot of snow in my garden in the Leicester Alps

Chelsea, with absolute perfect timing to play us have finally hit their straps, relief from a bad run and obviously new found confidence.

Just brilliant.

Chelsea 3 - 0 win

As if that matters

Snow affecting the game?

Anyone reckon there's any chance it'll be off? It's a bit mega in Rutland.

After the Middlesbrough and Ipswich games in the Championship, I don't hold out hope for any games being cancelled

Doesn’t make any odds whether we play teams in form or if they are playing crap, ever obliging Leicester City.

Would be surprised if it’s off. They’ll do anything to get it on and there’s not a lot of room left in the calendar.

Is it just me who actually hasn't seen that side of him recently?

I agree.  Vardy's been uncharacteristically neutered recently, except for one tackle when his frustration showed through.

Izzet is a legend and was my favourite player growing up. Stayed 8 years through thick and thin too, carried us at times. However, I feel Madders is a better player, if slightly different. The last two years Madders has been pretty much one of the best in the premier League, I can't remember Muzzy as good as he was, being in that bracket. Izzet is a club legend, I feel Madders is and could be a premier League legend.

Izzet was a ridiculously underrated player.  He was the most complete midfielder, so talented.  Good as he is, Madders will never contribute as much to the team as Izzet did .... in my view.

Maddison is better at peak Maddison things, but Izzet could do it all near enough.

I wouldn't want to choose between them

If we manage to score a goal early on and take the lead, would it possibly change some minds on the team/Rodgers?

Some would proclaim “we’re back” I’m sure.

The rest of us will just wait for the expected to unveil.

Seeing as there is no snow of note to come and it’s mid March, you’re right - there is zero chance this is called off for weather reasons

Rather focus on our present predicament.

We will play to still be in the game after 70 or so minutes, and then push for a goal. It's what we've tried to do against Arsenal and Man Utd.

We always go behind because we are shocking defensively, then aren't good enough to break down a defense that's holding a lead in those final moments.

2 of our worst attributes and 2 tactics that Rodgers employs against all the in form teams. Will be 0-1 somewhere between 0-60 mins, we'll "have a go" late on, resulting in 1 big chance and 1 half chance, but 60% possession so Rodgers will be happy with the effort and will the difference in spend.
