Before crushing him he’d have handed it a 4 year deal to be our new centre half. Has the turning circle of Vestergaard but on a sloped pitch could be more mobile.

Surely he can afford to retire early (he is 58). What satisfaction can he take from being so appalling at his job? If he still lives in the county how are his trips out for Sunday lunch or to the shops going? He must get stick everywhere he goes. Totally out of his depth.

Leuven have been extremely fortunate to not go down. The U21s should have been relegated once (maybe twice!?) but restructuring saved them.

 

Our academy production has been good but you start to wonder what it’d be like if we had competent people in place instead.

 

Maswanhise had a fantastic youth record, not loaned out at all and left on a free iirc, now top scorer in the SPL.  A few of the marginals make it and we’re in a healthier financial position. Sell Iversen for the £4m rather than inexplicably turning Palace down and so on…
