Eddie Howe really doesn't do Directors of Football does he lol he's managed to get through two of the best known in the business, calling out Ashworth on several occassions too.

to be fair to Eddie Howe, his record suggests he has a point...!

Eddie Howe next manager then. Sounds the perfect fit for us fans.

Oh for sure, it's interesting to see how much control he still has, during this era of Sporting Directors though, especially given Newcastle's ambitions.

One way to RM to get the fans onside, bring his own DOF with him

I mean to be fair if Martin came in under a new director of Football and a clear vision for the future mapped out that would actually be more tolerable.

Nope, he doesn't!

They've got a big summer ahead.

One thing that sticks in my mind is he would always use the private cubicles to get changed in opposed to the open locker area! I assume he’s not the longest in the shower!

I was explaining the categories of men in gym changing rooms to my wife earlier. If you use the little private cubicle in the corner I’m immediately assuming you are hiding a tiny johnson. My gym only has one cubicle, tiny and in the corner, like a cupboard of shame.  Apparently women’s lockers have far more of the cubicles in and they are much more commonly used.

I know someone who used to coach in the academy. They said he’d belittle people and was hard to get on with. Worked hard though, always had his head in stats and researching players ect. Also spoke to someone who said he wouldn’t tell youngsters when releasing players, he’d tell their parents or get someone else to do it.

Plus a little exclusive for you, apparently he was head hunted, palace wanted him at some point but he chose to remain loyal to Leicester.

Surely Buckingham Palace. He’d make a great little fawning butler

Interesting that you’re thinking about other men’s penises whilst you are in a changing room. How was your relationship with your mother?

Be interested to know if I encountered the same person, because I heard very similar from somebody before a match last season. Went as far as to call him "slimy" when mentioning him leaving others to do the dirty work. Sounded like he'd been one of the ones tasked with those "not for me" Rudkin tasks.

Though as a point, they didn't say anything about him working hard, just that he had a knack of buttering up the right people to "get ahead" and that he was the equivalent of that mid-level manager at your office who has no obvious qualities but inexplicably keeps getting promoted.

The work was regarding as academy coach said he always had his head in stats, researching players, they were surprised he’d risen to dof though. Claimed he was easily starstruck though which could tie in with him buttering certain people up.

This would be the type of DoF we should have. Think we were linked with him a few years ago when Walsh left.

Will probably join someone more ambitious and better run like Burnley or Bournemouth.

He was quite strongly linked with us circa 2016/2017

Has anyone had any run ins with him before? Confrontations, interactions? I'm curious as to what incredible mind behind this well oiled machine exists.

Had many dealings with him when he was academy director, absolute tool back then. Not many had a good word to say about him apart from the parents who bowed down to him.

He hated any player or parent questioning any decisions he made and would give special treatment to the ones who again bowed down to him.

Sound familiar?

Iversen goes on a free, 12 months after we were asking too much for him.

So no transfer fee and wages for 12 months.

Another Rudkin masterclass.

It's a good point. We (rightly) focus on the big failings. But the smaller ones we see, and also don't see...imagine. not just this absolute weapon, but also Whelan.

I wonder how many bids he will reject this summer for this horrendous lot before they leave on a free in the summer…

Jakub Stolarkzyk

Ricardo Pereira

Conor Coady

James Justin

Boubakary Soumare

Patson Daka

Jordan Ayew

Will Alves

Jakub leaving would leave us with Mads and that's it

I would not describe Ricky as horrendous by any stretch

Will Alves was once our most promising player before his injury. Again to describe him as horrendous is just not accurate.

Apologies to Ricky P who is definitely not horrendous. The other 2 mentioned would be very good at a team like Stoke or Hull, but we should be aiming higher
