All the pre match photos they looked scared shitless and it's been like this for months.

 

They need to get their shit together and play as a unit.

I think some players not thanking him on socials is more advised from a fan relation point of view by the club. Maddison getting involved with fans has probably been spoken about too.

 

Any post now thanking him while we are sat 19th would get a barrage of abuse. 

 

I don't think he'd necessarily lost the group. They all spoke highly of him. Even Kasper in his recent interview did. Probably quite a worrying thing that they liked him quite as much when we had that much failure for so long.

They will be briefed after training tomorrow on what to say. Some like Maddison will put a genuine message out, but most will come out with the standard ‘thank you boss’ template

Right, it's up to them now. Most fan frustration has been directed at the manager and the board because we believe that these players are capable of more. It's time for them to show us that we were right to not dig them out.

When there was a break in play and they went over to the bench yesterday I noticed to a man that they all ignored him. He definitely looked as though he’d lost the dressing room to me

As long as they realise the position that we’re in, couldn’t care if they miss/hated Brendan.

 

They need to roll their sleeves up and show an actual desire to win second balls, make a proactive run even if they know all they’re doing is opening up space for a team mate etc.

 

They’ve been doing so many basic things wrong in games lately and that whilst down to Brendan is also on the players to me.

 

I may be alone on this but find this group of players one of the most dislikable that we’ve had in a long time.

Just Ricky P has as far as I can. Which also suggests that the club have not said to the players not to post anything.

Can't see Stowell going for a complete change of approach, best hope is the players step up more to show they're not the ones that were the problem.

I'm sure more will come out later today. How genuine they are is another matter. Certainly a lot of players who were left our in the cold will be happy. Clearly there was some real disconnect in the squad which BR fostered. At the very least, his departure should make the first team a better place to be for everyone in the short term (,before the good players find new clubs).
