We got rid of Rodgers but didn’t actually change anything.  That sums up this club this season.

Could not believe what I was watching today. Regardless of the 2 gormless so called managers on the sidelines today these players should have something about them to try and win such an important game regardless of the tactics set by the management team but even that was too much to ask.

 

We’re down and what a shambles, should be comfortably mid table let’s bet honest. We will be lucky not to finish bottom, cannot see us winning another game this season.

So angry after that. They players don’t give a f**k. Why would they, half of them have wanted out for twelve months. Most of them will get a move if we go down. To turn in that ‘effort’ in the biggest match of the season says it all. I’ll fully embrace the championship if it means we get some players who actually want to play for the club. That today was an utter disgrace

I would embrace it also, if the financials didn’t possibly mean total meltdown of the club.

Stowell and Sadler have absolutely blown two great chances to pick up points. The game plan against Villa was strange but it had nothing on todays. Absolute disaster. You don’t turn to Soumare and Amartey in our biggest match for years and you can’t start Vardy after his performance on Tuesday. Two RB’s on the right hand side as well, why?

There wasn’t a semblance of a game plan. Yet again we sat off them and failed to capitalise on the atmosphere. Idiotic.

 

I’ve defended the player’s attitude this season but that was an embarrassment. I know there was no game plan, but there was also a total lack of fight.

 

The board have masterminded one of the biggest destructions of a club that I can remember. From being in a golden position to establish ourselves in the top 7 to impending relegation, a squad torn to pieces by mismanagement and a manager taking over who failed miserably at Leeds.

 

With this board in charge I honestly fear for us next season if we go down. They aren’t up to the job.

Do the players really care because on paper we have a good team..I know the management has a part to play but the players are ultimately responsible for a lack luster performance at this rate if we get relegated we will need new players as at the minute I'm not sure this team could cope one league lower.

Just leaves fans broken and lost.....hope the club realises effect on fan base

Totally agree, I am dumbfounded how Sadler & Stowell,carried on Rodgers last games poverty of selection and  tactics..

It was obvious what we needed,even when across the whole FT forum,there were

fans slightly different pov who should play the base was basically the same,excepting the fans exchange on banter…

 

But..Soton,Blackburn,C.Palace,Bournemouth we’re Kamikaze selections ,showing incompetent collection of experience across the who team coaching & management teams.

Losing today with no fight has finished me today…Please don’t give We improved

We've been just as poor practically all season - Southampton at home comes to mind.

 

Surely the Board aren't stupid enough not to have seen this coming, I know we've had lines from coaching mouthpieces that we didn't contemplate it til last week but that just strikes me as absurd.

 

Iversen, Souttar, Kristensen, KDH, maybe lucky we keep Iheanacho or Daka. Can't see anyone else being successful in The Champ, and the rest will be off.

 

Reserving comment on the manager decision. Keep us up will be a miracle, will be flabbergasted if he's the man to take us back up.

 

All least we can jettison a load of the comatose daytripper fans off and get the whole stadium focused on getting us back up, eventually. League 1 was a shock which galvanised us, hopefully some of our best nutters come to the fore.

No. Rodger’s should have started the rebuild and bought a load of shit he didn’t want to play… then rather than creating an us against them mentality, he chucked everyone under his he bus and blamed them rather than himself. 
 

Oh and his shite fitness team wrecked numerous players long term fitness and ability. It’s not on all of them, not sacking the **** earlier is on them!
