I'm not expecting anything from the game but I'd much rather we lose 5-3 or by some other mad scoreline, throwing ourselves at Man City and giving them a fright than try to contain them, keep it all square until the 87th minute before losing 2-0.

 

Going to email the club this morning to let them know that the famous Foxestalk poster Bellend Sebastian is investing in a one day Sky Sports pass especially for the occasion and he demands value for money. Dean Smith might want to use that in his team talk, dunno

I was at the Etihad when Vards scored a great opening goal in the first half, but Kasper decided to set Aguero up 2 or 3 times in the second half. We lost 5-1 , Aguero netting 4.

I work in a bookies so I'm gonna be too busy to be thinking about it lol

Those complaining about Vardy playing are forgetting how we have been playing, whe we play this fast transition from back to front, Vardy is exactly the striker we need on the pitch. 

To have Kel up top too is something I've wanted to see for a long time and can see us doing well with the team that's leaked, not expecting much today but if that's the team for the rest of the season I think we stay up.

I agree. We never played to any of our strikers strengths. We’ve been screaming for 2 up top for ages and I never understood why we didn’t against the teams around us. 
 

Vards is past the stage of playing a lone striker, with Kel up top with him, and a happy Vards with Shakey back might put the spark back in him.

That's precisely why Soyuncu isn't playing for us anymore. He lost confidence and made mistakes under Rodgers continual playing of him on the left of a three, particularly when trying to cover the left back position. Played on the right of a two (Turkey) or left of a two (Leicester), he's a different player. 

 

Why do you think after a long lay off he can come back and shine in a position he was previously uncomfortable and poor in?
