Sky Sports predictions (For what that's worth) are giving us a 1-1 draw due to a history of Man City having a history of poor results after draining midweek European games.

If only I could find an ounce of their confidence within me but I just can't. They are just a sublime and near perfect team.

They are just the wrong team at the wrong time for us right now and I will be happy to just get this one out of the way and look at our next targets that we can realistically look at getting points from.

Bloody looking forward to today all the same.

Poor result for Man City is probably only scoring two goals.

Bit random, but does anyone know how to find out which kit we're playing in today?

We’re in black. LCFC media team announced it on Instagram..

What's our heaviest defeat against Pep? I remember a 4-0, or was it 5-1?

I was at the Etihad when Vards scored a great opening goal in the first half, but Kasper decided to set Aguero up 2 or 3 times in the second half. We lost 5-1 , Aguero netting 4.

It’s pretty upsetting when you’re fighting relegation and you know this is one more game we’re not getting any points.

Just need to see some signs of improvement today . Need some positives to take into the run in

Up early and dreading the game.

Is there anyway we can get anything from this one?

Going to be a long day, isn't it? Late kick-off, so we're dreading the outcome for an extra two hours. Maybe there's a horse race to distract us?

It’s Man City away FGS - we would struggle here if we were flying for Top 5 😂

Those complaining about Vardy playing are forgetting how we have been playing, whe we play this fast transition from back to front, Vardy is exactly the striker we need on the pitch.

To have Kel up top too is something I've wanted to see for a long time and can see us doing well with the team that's leaked, not expecting much today but if that's the team for the rest of the season I think we stay up.

I agree. We never played to any of our strikers strengths. We’ve been screaming for 2 up top for ages and I never understood why we didn’t against the teams around us.

Vards is past the stage of playing a lone striker, with Kel up top with him, and a happy Vards with Shakey back might put the spark back in him.

That's precisely why Soyuncu isn't playing for us anymore. He lost confidence and made mistakes under Rodgers continual playing of him on the left of a three, particularly when trying to cover the left back position. Played on the right of a two (Turkey) or left of a two (Leicester), he's a different player.

Why do you think after a long lay off he can come back and shine in a position he was previously uncomfortable and poor in?

Is that you Brendan?
