Can we have a couple more threads about Marsch please? Don't think there's enough at the minute

Next poll - are you happy with his choice of attire?

If it's just for the end of the season, I'm coming round to the idea solely based on his previous relationship with Daka who was thriving under him at RB Salzburg. Still not 100% though.

Long term, I'd prefer Potter.

He wasn’t my first choice but I’m willing to give him a chance.

We need a new sporting director too though and it’s important we back Jesse with the right coaching staff.

Not particularly happy about it but I feel I've got a bit of unconscious bias based on what I've read on here & from Leeds fans.

Ultimately, different managers work for different sets of players so whilst he may have struggled at Leeds, he may do well for us.

Whoever gets the job keeping us up at thus point should be a bonus,  not expectation.

I still believe that there's a good chance of us staying up with a positive management change & a sprinkle of luck.

Can't remember people being overwhelmed when Claudio got the gig and that turned out ok. I'm certainly prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt .

No offence to you, but I wish people would stop saying this. The club was in a different, arguably stronger position at that time. Pearson had left us with a rock solid structure, we had a great scouting department and the medical set up was spot on. On top of that, we had a squad with an abundance of fantastic leaders like Huth, Wes, Kasper, Vardy and players approaching their peak.

Skip forward 7 years and that's been dismantled completely. We've never needed a stronger manager than we do right now. It's a total rebuild job. I love Claudio but he wasn't the man for a rebuild job and I say that with all the love in the world for that guy.

Just think Marsch does not look or feel like the right appointment now.

I wouldn’t be actively happy with anyone but Pearson, but I wouldn’t be desperately unhappy.

Isn't it already a permanent? 3.5yrs?

It seems like the club isn't sure on this potential appointment, themselves.

Is permenant the same as permanent? This is important as it'll help me decide which way to vote

We are in deep trouble! No time to get all finicky about spelling! 😂

Top used to be indecisive but he's not so sure now.

Pearson didn’t want to come. Also read that he doesn’t get on with Rudders (which is still a problem as things stand.)

Define happy. I'm happy to get a new manager, I'm happy to get a new manager who doesn't want to play tippy tappy football. I'm happy to get a new manager with premier League experience and experience of winning trophies.

Ultimately there are better coaches out there, some of them are also readily available. I think I still would have gone for Hassenhutl but doing a bit of research into Marsch it's clear he he isn't just a clueless yank he has a style and a clear philosophy and I respect he turned down Southampton on a short term contract.

There is a major rebuilding project needed in the summer he could just be the right person to build a pressing team that is actually fun to watch again. It just depends which division we'll be in.

So I'm happy enough.

Honestly, I think he'll be a complete failure here and we'll be in the bottom half of the Championship before our thick as mince board even notice it BUT after yesterday, I'll take anyone at all to lead this group. I'm sick of "let's try Vardy isolated up front" sick of 3 defensive midfielders that do nothing to protect a pourous defence and sick of the entire team looking sorry for themselves.

Even if it gets us a couple of results, it's got to be better than yesterday's omnishambles.

Also to all those people who were baying for Rodger's blood and now unhappy with his potential replacement. What did you think would happen? Rodgers at the time was probably the highest profile manager we could attract. Did you think we'd get Pochettino or Tuchel or Nagelsman?

We were down with Rodgers; hence why we are in the relegation zone and Palace had 30+ shots against us
