Ipswich fan in peace. Conor Chaplin will definitely be joining you boys in the summer no matter what league we are both in. Mr Hirst has certainly been an unofficial agent in all of this apparently. Conor has been a revelation for the town. To say i’m gutted is an understatement.

We’ll take Chaplin if you can keep Hirst permanently, albeit in the championship next season Chaplin would be an excellent signing, because we would likely only have Albrighton for the start of the season.

We will see, would love for him to succeed at a clubs such as ours. Deserves the opportunity none the less.

Looked an absolute superstar when he started at Portsmouth. Thought he’d be at a premier league club within months, but looks like he’s just got a bit stuck in league 1.

 

Will never write anyone off given what we’ve seen with JV here and as mentioned Toney with his late blooming! 
 

But yeah it would be a big leap to even join a top champ club (which we could well be)

Talking to an Ipswich fan in the gym recently actually he quite likes Hirst, would be a good move for him to go to ITFC permanently as I honestly can't see him getting a chance with us even if we go down. Would be a great move for you

This all seems very UnLeicester like to be so organised and able to entice players before a successful season for them has been completed.

I mean, with th amount of players we will lose in the summer, regardless of relegation/survival, I can definately see some signings like this. We are looking at having to replace 11 or more players, I'm guessing so I suspect we will be bringing in, not only starters but back-ups. Especially ones who can play several positions. 

 

My only thought would be, who is making these signings? We don't know who will be manager then so is it Glover?
