UniFox21 Posted 2 January 2024 Posted 2 January 2024 This bit of punditry is even worse. Ex Liverpool player slowing it day to 0.05 speed and then zooming it in as much as possible for the faintest touch. Same pundits who will shout that football is a contact sport 3

RowlattsFox Posted 2 January 2024 Posted 2 January 2024 (edited) Didn't watch it live but take or both of the pens were given on field? Neither are given otherwise. Obviously VAR needs to intervene but without it it's still given. Not enough is made of the players anymore. Football would be easier to ref if it wasn't full of cheating *****. Pundits and fans clamouring for a foul with the slightest touch don't help. Edited 2 January 2024 by RowlattsFox 1
filbertway Posted 2 January 2024 Posted 2 January 2024 There's a very easy way to tell if someone has dived, if their arms go in the air, they're diving. If you get tripped up unexpectedly then you naturally put your arms down to break the fall.

Chelmofox Posted 2 January 2024 Posted 2 January 2024 Totally glossed over the Jota dive this morning on the Radio. Neville called it out when it happened, but all over punditry seems to have accepted it. Can you imagine how Klopp would be behaving if that was given against Liverpool at 3-2 to kill the game off? 3

SkidsFox Posted 2 January 2024 Posted 2 January 2024 We really need Man Utd to have a good second half of the season. Last thing we need is a big Manchester club sniffing around our manager.

when_you're_smiling Posted 2 January 2024 Posted 2 January 2024 Nothing says ‘fully complied’ more than desperately getting a good lawyer and leaking that to the press. 2

Even more so, Jota could’ve easily scored. 1

Super_horns Posted 2 January 2024 Posted 2 January 2024 Even VAR doesn't want to liven this game up it seems by getting involved.
Guest Bilo Posted 2 January 2024 Posted 2 January 2024 Holy shit, I would be nursing a semi until August. Talk of a 30 point deduction. Get that horrible little club down.

Most newspapers are kak these days, but credit where it’s due, the use of that lingard image is perfection in this scenario

I like that Forest's defence is the Johnson money they earned that doesn't count for the period they're being investigated for.

Nalis Posted 3 January 2024 Author Posted 3 January 2024 Brentford quietly in freefall, lost 7 of their last 8. Wonder if they'd ever pull the trigger on Frank? Toney will be back in a fee weeks I guess.

As we found last year, once you are in that bottom 6 its very hard to get out of it.
The Bear Posted 3 January 2024 Posted 3 January 2024 Brentford have had numerous injuries to contend with recently, and now two or three of their starters are off to AFCON. So they won't be improving any time soon.
