purpleronnie Posted 23 December 2023 Posted 23 December 2023 Probably the worst outcome, but I wont care as long as we win.
Lionator Posted 23 December 2023 Posted 23 December 2023 Ipswich going into our game in a bit of a mini slump would be lovely. 2
danish_fox Posted 23 December 2023 Posted 23 December 2023 Ipswich need a goal before half time, so they have something to chase for in second half. By that using energy before the 26.!
lcfcdamo Posted 23 December 2023 Posted 23 December 2023 Let's be honest we are way better than both these teams 2
Leicester_Loyal Posted 23 December 2023 Posted 23 December 2023 This could be the game where the tide changes for Ipswich... 2

I don't understand how some people can't comprehend simple maths. Ok, how about the simple maths of being able to go 9 clear of Ipswich on Tuesday? Bigger gap to more teams gives us more leeway so the closer side to us winning is the worse outcome
wardyfox86 Posted 23 December 2023 Posted 23 December 2023 Great breakaway tbf, good goal. Summerville is superb.

Leeds Fox Posted 23 December 2023 Posted 23 December 2023 Only tuned in 10 mins ago… but Hirst looks tidy in that back to goal strikers role.
Tuna Posted 23 December 2023 Posted 23 December 2023 I mean credit Leeds, they beat them away they are beating them at home, can't do much more that that really, can they!

Winning the league would be nice, but finishing in the top 2 is vital. 2

ARTY_FOX Posted 23 December 2023 Posted 23 December 2023 This game is win/win. Doesn't matter who wins at all aslong as we do our job today. 2
coolhandfox Posted 23 December 2023 Posted 23 December 2023 Losing puts a bit of pressure on Ipswich for boxing day.
Vacamion Posted 23 December 2023 Posted 23 December 2023 If Summerville does that to Ipswich, Fatawu and Mavididi will murder them.
Dr The Singh Posted 23 December 2023 Posted 23 December 2023 The match is over Ipswich aint doing shit

Ipswich play a really intense high press and are willing to be a lot more direct than us our Southampton in their approach. However, this means that if you beat their press there are a lot of gaps in their side when in transition as sometimes they commit both fullback forwards at the same time. They will be at home on Boxing Day and will really take the game to us. Birmingham tried to press us high but did it naively, whereas so far we struggled pretty badly against Sunderland and Leeds. However, as we are away from home it may suit us, see our counter attacking against Southampton and Birmingham. To me so far in this game, Ipswich have had more control and possession but have been killed in transition. It's a good game to watch to be fair! Edited 23 December 2023 by StriderHiryu 3
Ian Nacho Posted 23 December 2023 Posted 23 December 2023 Based on this game we've got nothing to worry about on boxing day.

This is just wether or not we open a bigger gap to second. 2
Leeds Fox Posted 23 December 2023 Posted 23 December 2023 Ipswich chasing game from so early on should do us a favour.
