In terms of the opposition we’re coming up against, yes. Interesting how to make your point you chose to compare our best player that season with a fringe player this season - that’s now how it works.

In terms of dominance at the level they are playing this team is very similar to that team in 15/16.

The teams below don’t even necessarily have to lose if birmingham can nick a point today and against Southampton next week and we win against qpr puts pressure back on them. Huddersfield could get a point against Leeds, probably not likely in Leeds form but no one in this league is unbeatable. Still think we will win the league but it won’t be as easy as it looked for a while. Hoping it comes down to Leeds and Southampton last game and leeds mess it up bunch of gobshites

We know not what next season delivers…

Plus this forum were then having digs at both Ricardo,Morgan and Kante.

Can't help blaming anyone for getting a bit concerned looking at the last couple of results and capitulations... don't forget we've seen it all before when throwing away Champions League places 2 seasons running when we were pretty much nailed on for a 4th place finish. In Football has history has shown ,in all leagues

that midway even 2/3 of a season,even with the highest

quality opponents ( which is only a fans mindset) 11-19 pts

is Not a major chasm to ride around,spring-over,close or bridge.

Better teams than us have lost it,only to refind anewed energies.

 

We love sport not only because of every disciplines individual skills,

but the twist and turnarounds it delivers,to also rans,or scares it gives

the would be achievers…

We are no longer small children,we know thing and life is unfair,including

our sports,which all love throwing in curve balls quite regularly.

Has a fan I am like you say one of those incumbent followers,I have my thoughts

but stay true to beliefs until proved otherwise,and occasional critic welcome,but nothing that takes away from a unique total rebuild and reassessment of strong belief in a presented system..

I accept weaknesses and failures in high % in the sports I follow,but believe

in the character and set up of club,team and manager..

And believe upto the last moment that remit of season will be achieved.

has our target…So I stay and don’t wonder off into the woods because of some

i wouldnt say its crap, its not like we havent won against any of them, 

 

I'd honestly be more concerned if we was awful in all the games against the top 6, but we havent been, football is a game of fine margins and frankly against the top 6 sides, as with last night we came out on the wrong side of it

 

perspective is needed from some LCFC fans on here; 

 

like Daka missing that chance yesterday, moaning to hilt for that but then forgetting the sitter Vardy had last weekend and blazed over.

still loads of points to play for, after last night we showed Leeds arent invincible, they have tough games to come, as do all the teams in the top 4

If you think 100 will be enough for autos this season, then we probably still good as even a 1.7 PPG will get us there.  Thats worse than a win-draw-win-draw form.

I think 100 should be, it would be unprecedented and a great bet for 3 teams to get over 100. If you think that will happen what a tenner on it as must be good odds! 

 

I am more concerned we finish on 95 or something.  I don't see us taking more than 6 points in March with thst run. Hope I'm wrong and we show some steel.
