If I'm honest, you guys weren't vocal enough during the season.

 

It was becoming increasingly obvious post-World Cup this is where we were heading. With every loss and desperate performance on the pitch the trap door got larger and larger and given all the efforts to get the club on it's feet and stable in the first place, I'd have expected something public from the Trust questioning whether certain individuals had their hands on the steering wheel. Whilst people in the stands singing Sack The Board were getting jeered, it needed official groups such as this to be more present in the media, to at least be questioning our direction and leadership.

When I look at similar clubs in our position - Everton, Leeds, Forest - all had interviews on local and national tv and & radio and all were far more critical of what got them into their perilous positions. The general consensus is that the ownership still carry our respect and gratitude but that those below them advising and representing various parts of the workings of the club were asleep at the wheel and simply complacent and almost compliant in our downfall.

And when I say you weren't vocal enough, it was only seeing the Leeds United supporters group statements following relegation, that I had to check you still existed. Still, like you say, "we are where we are"

Whilst I agree with whats said in the statement, I think many people will be wondering why did you wait this long to say something, when it was clear the wheels were coming off many months ago.

The statement couldn't be more a desperate attempt to say something without rocking the boat in any way, shape or form. Your desire to stay in the good books with the club, who have little to no respect for the powerless cronies you are, says a lot about you.

 

Give it up, or try harder. This isn't the first time you've stood by and watch this team descend into the abyss. You did it from 2004-2008 and now you've done it again. Foxes Trust do not, will not and have not ever spoken for me as a fan, and you've done little since the days of administration of any effectiveness.

Foxes trust were calling rodgers out fans idiots.

They were groomed.

Ridgers ran out of ideas... his toothless possession football week after week... he blamed the players and they checked out...  he threw grew the brentford game to hit at the board... and the whole season was a car crash as the board looked on.  Foxes trust said nothing.

I've never heard of the Foxes Trust Board, but if that's their remit they've been asleep at the wheel this season.

The purpose of the Trust is not to second-guess football-related decisions made by the Club.  It is to ensure that the Club is run effectively and well, and to help ensure that Leicester City never experiences some of the catastrophic financial and governance issues which have impacted on so many clubs recently and, indeed, impacted on our club as recently as 2002.

 

Good grief how delusional are these people? Who are they ?do they fancy themselves as some sort of influencers? Their wording lends to the idea that they have some say in how the club is run, if so then it's partly their fault in the first place.Numpties.
