Drove out to Blaby for a coffee this morning, between Wigston and there, not a single England flag in sight, streets busy, cafe rammed, parks full...

Bit depressing that if this was the Mens world cup final there would be flags everywhere, barbecues in every other garden, pubs spilling out, streets, parks and coffee shops utterly silent.

Long way to go.

Any chance we could do something totally odds with an England team and do this the easy way ?

Just so we could relax and enjoy it for once.

Sat in a pub in Yorkshire, a few in here so hopefully a bit of atmosphere.

Plus I'm in a free half time raffle for a galon of beer which I'm bound to win as we're heading home after the match. Could be a wild second half if I do win mind lol

Unlikely as it may possibly be, I'd be more than be open to Wiegman in potentially managing the men's national team.

She seems the sort who would've take any rubbish and would ensure everyone is on the same page as her.

Would send completely the wrong message imo. Paints the women's game as a stepping stone. Would be great for Wiegman to stay and carry on her great work with the Lionesses.

Great, should be like an home game.

It’ll take a generation for people to care, they’ve only just started really pushing it haven’t they. Patience young grasshopper, our children’s children will care, equally the standard of football will come up in time too.

If you aren't already, I'd recommend watching on ITV.

You can't hear that bloody annoying Spanish commentary that you can on the BBC.

Its stopped now I think, just in case ITV womens coverage is as terrible as mens and anyone wants to jump back

Our last corner, the Spanish defender had her back to the ball and both arms wrapped round the woman she was marking preventing her from jumping for the header… Is that not a pen?
