RoboFox Posted 16 June 2023 Posted 16 June 2023 Wouldn’t be averse to this. His wages probably wouldn’t be too bad. Depends on what they value him at as part of the deal, mind. 1
bmt Posted 16 June 2023 Posted 16 June 2023 I'd rather we pick our own targets. Also he'd probably be alright at championship level but I don't want this to happen because I've been calling him shit for years 1
Devonfox1884 Posted 16 June 2023 Posted 16 June 2023 I’d rather have a look at their younger players and see if there’s anybody we could take from their development squad. If not, cash only.
RowlattsFox Posted 16 June 2023 Posted 16 June 2023 Forgot he existed. If he's fit you'd think he'd be tidy in the Championship. Not going to take much off the price for Barnes and Maddison though is he. 1
Lcfc-1992 Posted 16 June 2023 Posted 16 June 2023 If Maresca is going to want players that are comfortable on the ball then we might go for him. Might be a decent player in the championship 1
goose2010 Posted 16 June 2023 Posted 16 June 2023 not sure he would fancy dropping to the championship to be honest.
indierich06 Posted 16 June 2023 Posted 16 June 2023 End of the day, Levy is still going to need to a ****ing lot higher than £50m and Harry Winks for Maddison and Barnes.

Played in Serie B last season for Sampdoria could see him interested as he would be the standout player for us in midfield. Him and Tom Cairney would be great at this level. 1

Fosse93 Posted 16 June 2023 Posted 16 June 2023 Not a fashionable name but I think this could be a great signing. Very similar style of play to Matty James who was immense last time we were at this level. Winks is probably better n'all. We absolutely need ball players in the middle of the park, this would be a good start. 1

les-tah Posted 16 June 2023 Posted 16 June 2023 Obviously would be a top too player in the championship but i can’t imagine any deal with Levy going well for us financially.
lcfcben76 Posted 16 June 2023 Posted 16 June 2023 Nothing player for me. Would much prefer someone like Tanganga or Rodon

I think he’s a good player probably not top 10 standard in the premier league anymore but at this level he would be comfortably be one of the best midfielders at this level. Popular Post lcfcsnow Posted 16 June 2023 Popular Post Posted 16 June 2023 Just a way around paying less, and us ending up with another loser mentality player replacing those that left. 5
Happy Fox Posted 16 June 2023 Author Posted 16 June 2023 Harry Winks he’s played for England and he represents the famous Leicester City against Kosovo he was the scorer and he’s going to score another one tonight
Stadt Posted 16 June 2023 Posted 16 June 2023 I'd rather trust Braybrooke, looks as though he's already more progressive with the ball.

We need experience plus youth the likes of Braybrooke plus Winks / Cairney will help us for the championship campaign and beyond , we are replacing the likes of Maddison / Tielemans etc.
Fox92 Posted 16 June 2023 Posted 16 June 2023 What are people basing "he'll be a great player in the Championship" on? Because of a few decent games at Spurs? Everybody talks about that one performance against Madrid. He's a nothing type player to me, who will probably want a big wage, and we're only linked because Spurs are trying to use him to get Maddison and/or Barnes. 2

I think that’s a bit short sighted to say he’s pretty ordinary yeah you maybe right at premier league level but we are in the championship and at this level he will be one of the best players imo. 2
