So i'm not allowed to listen to what he's doing because his English isn't the best (seems absolutely spot on to me) and i'm not allowed to interpret what he's doing (because that would make me a mind reader).

Lets just move on.

I'm saying watch the football.

I've watched every minute of Maresca's reign that's been available to us mate.

Yeah I think he's completely done in, to be honest.

We have this obsession with footballer's ages as if human bodies have literal sell by dates.

Someone like Vardy is still going moderately strong because he was so late in to the professional game.

Youri on the other hand has played probably not far off world record minutes for someone of his age. Since his mid teens he's been playing solidly for club and then country domestically and in continental tournaments. You can't put your body through all of that and expect it to not take it's toll.

I said when we signed Tielemans if we could sell him at 25/26 for good money it would be great business.

He's been playing Belgium top league and Champions League football since he was 16, there is a lot of miles on that body. Also looking at his physique he carries a bit too much timber for someone of his age and profession. I've always thought he would plateau well before 30.

Compare it to Vardy who is naturally a wiry physique , skinny but strong. Vardy not playing football really seriously until his mid 20's coupled with his natural physique and you could assume there would be plenty of miles left on that body way after 30.

Interesting re Tielemans, and we’ve all seen and known players to peak early when their careers begin early at the top level.

Football is littered with players that peaked early.

Owen is a great example.

Rooney, Walcott.

Yeah but the point is that none of them actually peaked that early. They all peaked probably about on par when you measure it, as you should, by minutes played as opposed to arbitrarily by their age.

German champions Bayern Munich are considering making a move for Wilfred Ndidi before the close of the summer transfer window.

Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel is in the market for a holding midfielder and Ndidi is one of the names on the list of players being targeted.

According to the online edition of celebrated German sports magazine Kicker,  work is being done behind the scenes for a one-year extension, which would allow Bayern to sign Ndidi on loan for the remainder of the season.

Ndidi putting pen to a new deal would mean that the Foxes would not allow him leave for nothing at the end of this season, with the current agreement between club and player running out on June 30, 2024.

As per the report, Tuchel is an admirer of the Ndidi and the Nigeria national teamer was keen on working with the German at Paris Saint-Germain.

The Nath Boys product joined Leicester City  from Racing Genk in January 2017 and since then he has gone on to make 242 appearances in all competitions, registering 12 goals and 12 assists.

His injury problems seem to be a thing of the past as he has been involved in all the games played by Leicester City in the new season, starting four from a possible five.

Definitely but we would need to have a replacement lined up, despite signing Casadei I do feel we would need a decent option on the bench to provide competition and cover for KDH and Casadei in the event Wilf leaves.

If we get another winger and keep Praet I think we will be fine, we can also use Mcteer more central

There's no way any Bayern interest is genuine. So who's buying him?

Kicker is a reliable source for German transfer news. If they say he is being considered then he is most likely being considered, i wouldnt trust them for the Leicester part of that info where we are offering an extension.
