This is the stupidity of not signing lookman again. We should let Vardy go for a free, and sold daka at a cut price, tried to get nacho on a years extension and signed piroe

Someone spends too much time playing Football Manager

I bet nobody is more disappointed hearing this news than Nacho.

Cant imagine he fancies a season in the Championship!

He does actually. He wants to get us back up. Kelch has a fantastic character, I mean, he’s been second fiddle for most of his time here, a lesser person would have given up, yet he never has.

Think this brings Daka back into the fore.

i doubt it, hes not seen a minute of action so far this season and hes not been on the bench for the last 2 games, suspect he wont be again on saturday either

The meltdowns about being “ITK”, is one of the best things during the transfer window being open. Just about on par, with an actual signing!!

I think we should ban anyone who's not claiming ITK

Think it forces Enzo's hand re needing another option though. He obviously wanted someone else and by the looks of it won't be getting anyone.

Would rather have Nacho. But if Nacho leaves this is a major Rudkin brain fart

You can't judge that until the end of the window.

It would probably be irresponsible to sign Piroe with the three other strikers still here. We may get an offer for Iheanacho that we can't refuse and be left with Vardy and Daka. It may not be ideal or optimal for Maresca to be left with Vardy and Daka but we'll still have arguably the best No9 options in the division.

No way Piroe would want to come to Leicester with all three strikers still here anyway.

the club don't let that happen they do support the manager esp when they just come in.

I'm not too disappointed assuming of course that Kel stays at the club. If he is playing every week and the club is in a promotion place there is perhaps limited attraction of going to Palace etc. Let us hope that discussions have already taken place to extend his contract long enough to get something back next year if the club fails to get promoted. I think the next week is going to be a bit tense making sure that Leicester keep the core players needed to go straight back to the premier league.

Am i the only 1 who’d sooner have Kelechi over the lad 👀 let’s just hope we don’t sit back and let this happen only for Daka and Kelechi both to leave though as the slimani levels of panic on deadline day wouldn’t be pretty lol

Genuine question… people are saying this is Enzos main striker target ect and he's going to be so angry. How do we know this? Can someone point me in the direction of this information that Enzo wanted Piroe?

Yes. Shiny new thing who nobody has seen play> the guy that’s done well for us over the last 3 years. Rules

In response to my earlier cynicism, I've privately been reliably informed he's a "friend of a friend" of someone very senior in the club but the specific connection, if true, also explains his extremely anti-Rudkin dramatic bias.

And I don't want to dox anyone but he should also probably be a bit more careful if true.

(Not that I'm implying Jon Rudkin isn't a problem for the football club.)

So are you saying your an ITK about ITKs?

There are known knowns. These are things we know that we know. There are known unknowns. That is to say, there are things that we know we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns. There are things we don't know we don't know.

I think people are being realistic and understand kel only has one year left. Also. I would hardly say he has done well for us for 3 years. He has had basically one purple patch.

1 purple patch? Nah not having that but I take your first point.

What makes people think that Piroe is a long term option for us?

If he was any good he would be in the prem, especially for £12 million. I think folk forget that there are levels to this, Daka, Vardy and Kel are a level above and will prove so this season.

I don't think we are going to get a better finisher than Nacho in the Championship.

I suspect most other Championship clubs would love to have him in their team.

There are no guarantees of course, but there are so many positives to having him stay, which I believe outweigh the £10-15m we may get now.
