Manager and back room staff have little experience.

Massive worry for me.

We had all of that with Rogers and his partners in crime.  We will be fine.

I think he's the one they've struggled to get a work permit for, he's not worked since being at Parma with Maresca nearly 2 years ago. The criteria is vague but being out of work that long could make it harder.

No problem.  Get him here via Calais in a dinghy and sorted.

Mentioned already, but the inexperience worries me.

I think it’s a blessing, new ideas FINALLY!

People churn out the same nonsense in the workplace. New blood is always better than someone who has been there 20 years with no challenges and super comfy

I know a couple of them have worked before for an English team, but I worry there could be language difficulties given none of them will have native English. One thing to translate "please cut down on unhealthy foods"; another to translate "ease up on the Red Bull gents".

Wonder what Danny Walker's native language is?

Lack of experience / fresh approach & new ideas are two sides of the same coin.

Obviously the appointment is not without risk but, Maresca knows after Parma he has to prove himself. We need to accept there will be ups and downs this season but I am looking forward to how we go.

I think you can tell people’s age by their reactions. It’s such a dead giveaway. Imagine they’re exactly the same in the workplace.

does a work permit stop you being on the premises on the first day? Nothing stopping him being in the country is there? I just assume he cant be on payroll or on the books yet until hes granted the working visa/permit

If it’s anything like the US system then if caught it could seriously impact your long term prospects in the country. Best to avoid

Everyone has to start somewhere - perhaps an older head amongst them might have been wise, but a lot of football is about confidence, and if this gang of men can create the right atmosphere, then were halfway there.

Dont care about experience if they're good.

Yep. The game seems to change so much lately that experienced managers seem to get jaded and unable to keep up.

There is something quite comforting about having a Manager and backroom staff with experience, and this group are certainly on the low side of that!

However, as we saw with Smith, Shaky and Terry, experience and knowing the league and club, often make no difference at all!

The most important thing is, they are well organised and make the players work hard and buy into the message set by Enzo.

Hopefully this further shows how impressive Enzo is in person, as this is a real jump into the unknown for Top!

Davies left us for Tottenham so that leaves us with currently:

Enzo Maresca - Manager

Roberto Vitiello - Assistant

Danny Walker - Coach

Michele De Bernardin - GK coach

Marcos Alvarez - Fitness

Javier Molina Caballero - Analyst

I would say we still need another coach but I am glad we have a designated fitness coach as our players were very unfit last year especially Tielemans.

I also would like a set piece coach. Knudsen was actually good at set piece defence coaching. We conceded a lot less of them once he joined.
