No assistant manager named yet, is a bit unusual. I expected it to be Danny Walker but you don't have only one 1st team coach. I could understand if we'd named two and done away with an assistant manager bit we're one staff member shy, possibly more.

Proper goalkeeper coach, if he can’t improve our keepers then no one can.

he’s a coach, not the fookin messiah !

The fitness coach sounds a really good addition to the coaching staff, our fitness levels were shameful last season.

Walker has no senior coaching experience, right? This is a concern for me. Jumping from a league one youth coach to first team coach at Leicester City is a massive step up.

Where is the assistant manager as well?

I think he was a first team coach at Peterborough?

Trust me when I say this but Michele De Bernardin is going to turn our keepers into distribution machines

As long as they can actually make saves and collect crosses, I don’t really give a shít.

Hopefully the 3 foreign chaps all speak fluent English to get the message across clearly.

Probably know all they need to.

Pass, pass, pass, x30

Time will tell but there's absolutely nothing to lose surely. It's been so wrong for so long, even basic fitness, professionalism, effort, discipline and injuries, that a clear out and restart was essential.

All new staff are a potential risk to some extent for different reasons but to just carry on would have been gross negligence.

It at least gives hope as opposed to the dire downward spiral of the last couple of years of Rodgers stewardship.  Welcome gentlemen and good luck!

These guys have to do handstands at the barbers so as not to confuse the staff

I think he's the one they've struggled to get a work permit for, he's not worked since being at Parma with Maresca nearly 2 years ago. The criteria is vague but being out of work that long could make it harder.

Was hoping we wouldn’t go down the European fitness coach route, not keen.

Why? Two of the best on the planet are Lorenzo Buenaventura with Guardiola and Oscar Ortega with Simeone.

Besides, I’d imagine a lot of the current department including Matt Reeves will be sticking around.

The way the Man City youth teams play, the goalkeeper starts the attacks. We might end up with a goalkeeper who is kind of average in terms of shot-stopping, but very good at passing out from the back, throwing it to players to start counter-attacks quickly and so on.
