Popular Post Chelmofox Posted 20 April 2025 Popular Post Posted 20 April 2025 By joining a club that had been relegated, he must have known that if promoted it was a tough, tough ask to stay up. His comments sound a bit like he just expected to stay up - which seems to have been a an attitude around the club. Our approach to this season was so wrong. Terrible all around. 5

He helped keep Everton up but they carried him by playing 3 at the back. Did well at Wolves but again they had to play 3 at the back and eventually let him go. He's past it now though and has no business playing at this level. Average Championship player at best. Not meaning to dismiss your opinion but not sure what you are seeing to class as a good leader. He’s been in countless relegation battles in train wreck teams, either he isn’t good enough for a better team or he contributes to the hardship of the team. If he’s a good leader then why doesn’t his back line listen to him, thats assuming he and those around him have identified the issue that get repeated every week. He talks rubbish that is completely disconnected to what we have just watched and is in self preservation mode. Edited 20 April 2025 by Richmondfox 3
Popular Post ronnup Posted 20 April 2025 Popular Post Posted 20 April 2025 He clearly isnt a good anything, he knows exactly what to say and how to act, but we dont pay him 100k a week for PR. Absolutely sick of hearing from this useless lump 6

He talks rubbish that is completely disconnected to what we have just watched and is in self preservation mode. This is the first relegation though. He was a bang average player but has forged a good career by his mentality. Southgate took him to tournaments with England because he's good in the dressing room. I don't mean banter but a good character. England missed that (him and Henderson) at the last Euros which was unhappy camp. Problem this season is he's just not up to Premier League football anymore, he was never that good anyway, and he's in a shambles of a defence which makes it worse. If you put Wes Morgan at the end of his career here in this team and he wouldn't cope. He helped the club bounce straight back last season but shouldn't have captained the club in the PL when he's not up to playing there. Edited 20 April 2025 by gazzaa2

He seems like he can't make his mind up. He's "devestated", yet in the next breath he's talking about playing Liverpool like he works a 9-5 and plays non league footie for 50 notes a week He just says what he thinks people want to hear.

Paninistickers Posted 20 April 2025 Posted 20 April 2025 Another one. Whilst he's at LCFC, I won't be. Waste of oxygen 2

Simonb Posted 20 April 2025 Posted 20 April 2025 Talks better than he plays. Stuck with him for another season. He's one of those players who I envision being in the new managers office waiting for their arriving to get his nose right up their backside. Speaks about not being good enough for a season but will happily take a wage and contribute nothing for another season... although this is bad.. it's not as bad as another two years of paying Vesty 2

Yeah on a squad that was playing in league one 2 seasons ago and had a squad on a wage 14m last season. In comparison ours was on nearly £60m per year. So there investment was needed to bring them up to speed with top end championship clubs Edited 20 April 2025 by HankMarvin
Tielemans63 Posted 20 April 2025 Posted 20 April 2025 He'll have a career in the media, but hasn't got much to offer as a footballer anymore. He's barely mobile.
gazzaa2 Posted 20 April 2025 Posted 20 April 2025 Don't mind him seeing his contract out in The Championship next year but nothing beyond that. Not up to the PL anymore.
PAULCFC Posted 20 April 2025 Posted 20 April 2025 To be honest......he can F××k off,His mouth does more work than his feet and he is stealing a living from the club. 2

Tuna Posted 20 April 2025 Posted 20 April 2025 Have to wonder whether he will have any takers after the Wolves move fell through.

blueharmie Posted 20 April 2025 Posted 20 April 2025 I hate this guy. Talks out his arse. Another fraud.
LCFCCKEANO Posted 21 April 2025 Posted 21 April 2025 If he breaks Faes in training think he’s been well worth the transfer fee, let’s wait and see
Popular Post Dan Posted 21 April 2025 Popular Post Posted 21 April 2025 The Coady signing is exactly what I expect the 'review' that apparently took place brought us. We need a load of intangibles to fix, bring in a bloke renowned for said intangibles who happens to be able to speak well. Terrible value for money. Wasn't wanted by the teams who finished 15th and 17th in the Premier League despite both having the option on him. Exactly the kind of trap you could predict our freezer IQ board were going to waltz into. Disaster. 9
Jon the Hat Posted 21 April 2025 Posted 21 April 2025 You can't trust these good looking footballers. Bring back ugly arseholes who win matches.
