Thank god it's not just me - I prefer Lestoh (but not oh, as oh my!), technically it's les-tŏ - ŏ being the o-sound in otter.  What it certainly is not is lestah - which is how they'd say it in manchestah.   ah or ɑː is like the end of star or car, it lifts, the leicester dialect is very flat and doesn't tend to lift.
